Mags for SIG 556

Post by Beiruty »

I am looking to buy some 30 rds and 40 rds mags for my SIG 556. I heard that SIG 556 is picky with it Mags. I play to spend $10-$15 per mag.

What do you recommend?

Any AR15 magazines would do. Pmag falls right into your range. Never heard it's picky on magazines.

Check AR15.com's Equipment Exchange or Classified area.

I just bought 12 from Midwayusa.com. I guess it was a fear purchase since they are talking about banning them. I purchased a bunch of AR, M1A, AK47, PS90, AR10, etc etc. Anyway they are the only place that had all of them, but even then they still have really good prices and I figure since they donate A LOT to the NRA and I don't like this law it's a good person to buy them from.
My posts on this website are worth every cent you paid me for them.

They already have a decent price on them, and if you enter promo code "mags" when you check out, you get an additional 10% off. Free shipping if you order more than $90.

I ordered ten 20-round Pmags from them on January 16th during this promotion. They've been slammed with orders because of the promo and because of the hype about a possible mag ban in the works, but JoeBob sent an e-mail stating that they will honor any orders. My order shipped on Thursday, January 20th.

Get Pmags and be done.

Pmags are the best mags out there you can spend more but you won't get more. I have a couple of Sig mags and they are not as good as my Pmags. Milspec mags are great just be sure you get real milspec like D&H, C Products, Labelle, etc. I have bought a lot of mags from 44 Mag good prices, good service and good selection.
