Ankle Holster for G19?
Does anyone know if there is an ankle holster that will carry a G19?

That's what I was thinking too but Galco actually has the 19 as an option.74novaman wrote:I can see ankle carrying a 26....but a 19?

Re: Ankle Holster for G19?
Just stuck an ASP Glock 19 dummy gun (same thing as a Ring's "blue gun" trainer gun) into my Galco Ankle Glove designed for G26 and it fits - a bit snug because holster tapers to G26 length a bit at bottom - but works.
Didnt put it on my ankle, but I can tell I'd need some wide bottoms to conceal it easily. And the barrel/front of slide sticks out enough I'd be worried about banging it on my ankle bone (OUCH!) at an inconvenient moment.

G19? Holy cow! I wouldn't even try to ankle carry my 27. It is just to heavy! Light weight snubby only for me. The grip is going to stick out so far! Heck with bell bottoms your going to need those skydiving pants or what they called in the 90s Caffeine pants. Nowadays I think they are just called raver pants, caffeine went out of business. If you get this to work your going to have to show us pics!!
Edit: Unless your calf and lower leg muscles are the size of a Virginia Ham I really think that grip is going to stick out real far!
Got this from another site!

Re: Ankle Holster for G19?
Even if you could afford it, you would find the weight of a G19 to be too much. I've carried a 642 in an ankle holster several times, and it makes me walk funny. I'm very aware of the weight of it causing a pendulum swing type of feeling when I walk. Even my much lighter M&P340 does it. I occasionally belt carry my wife's G19 and it carries very well...........on a belt. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to walk normally with a G19 in an ankle holster.txcshooter wrote:Thanks guys. ...when I ankle carried in my boots...I'd buy what they called boot cut jeans...looser at the bottom...easy to draw and they may still be made...but that was 40 years ago...I dunno...
