M16A1 Parts Kits?

Post by SQLGeek »

Does anybody have a line on where to find one of these? I know Gun things had them for a while and when I went back to buy one, they were gone. I can't seem to find one anywhere. Am I straight out of luck? :cryin

Yeah I was in the same boat not too long ago. After snooping around the interweb and making some phone calls it was determined that I was not going to find one. From what I hear Century Arms bought up almost all the kits and used them to build their A1 look alike rifle. At that point I decided to just go with a A2 style build.

Well that's a bummer. He who hesitates and all that...

Guess I'll just focus on a modern carbine build.

Thanks.

I want to build a retro AR-15A1 based upon a parts kit and NoDakSpud A1 lower. From what I can tell Sarco is out to. I may have to piece one together. Sounds a wee bit spendy.

Sorry, missed your post. Yes I did. It seems they have some parts but not a kit.
