After trolling the waiting room everyday after my daily status check I figured I might as well join.
Snail mailed mine as well as my wife's packet on March 10th. And finally I hit pay dirt on Friday April 25th with the background check in progress for both my wife and I.
Then I was fortunate to check this morning and find everything was complete and manufacturing pending. (My wife's still stuck on background check). So hopefully plastic in hand next week! :clapping:

Yes this is true. You do not need to send it.

Nice. My snailmail got to DPS on the 27th so it looks like I could be looking at another ~10 days

I completed my class and had all docs uploaded by 3/8 with confirmation on 3/10 and still have no update. It's good to see that people close to my time are seeing their apps being processed. I wonder when a good time would be to call DPS. It seems a lot of people on here were able to call DPS and get an update the next day.

I would imagine it would be pointless to call until day 60.

Been lurking for a minute, bout time I jump on this waiting bandwagon. CHL class Feb 20
Fingerprints 3/17
Mailed CHL packet 3/18
Received 3/20 USPS certified

No update online, still waiting on CHL Package. Called on 4/23 and was told allow 6-8 weeks. Emailed and got a response CHL was mailed out on 4/15. 5 minutes later got another email apologizing and this was info for another person with my same name. Talk about a buzzkill! Thought I was special there for 5 minutes. Lol!

You're probably right. I'll give it another week or so before I call. I'm on day 52 right now.

Yeah, what a buzzkill! I was about to be both happy for you and jealous as all-get-out for having your stuff mailed in under a month after document receipt.
