New here and considering a J frame so I'm glad to find this. Thanks.

Stephen is no longer with us but if you can find his self published defensive guide to the j frame it'd be well worth the effort.

Maybe google fu in e-bay for Stephen A. Camp's shooters guides might be successful. Stephen wrote 'Guides" for the 1911, Browning High Power, J frames, and one novel.

They"re all good stuff for gunnies.

We actually have Camp's Corner here on the forum. Stephen was a valued member here and very much missed. You can still read a lot of posts and great info from him in the section viewforum.php?f=104

Sorry about that- I had no idea it was out of print... mine is "on loan" with a buddy in Dallas right now.

I did a quick google search and was shocked at the prices... finally I have a gun related item that has appreciated in value!! :woohoo
