Far too much concern for the "feelings" of any one individual as opposed to right vs wrong.
Truthfully, I'd love to see the woman be able to sue the fitness center and win a judgment large enough to bankrupt them and put them out of business for allowing such foolishness, put many people out of jobs and put every member out of access to the fitness center. Perhaps something that extreme will wake people up to this foolishness.

It's fine if you disagree. I can't force you to be correct.

You lefties have your man in office and are running the country (into the ground) and are complaining about discrimination? The Annoyed Man wrote:Regardless, it's a tough row to hoe on many fronts... A small win in regard to bathroom use notwithstanding.
I have been left-handed my entire life. In the 1st grade, they tried to force me to write right-handed, but it just wasn't in me. When I was allowed to BE left-handed, I prospered in school.

To bring guns into this, if I feel sort of feminine this weekend, can I use the (more lenient) holster rules for women at the IDPA match I'll be attending?

Joe, you 100% sure about that last part in every case? I agree that some of that is going on and maybe I agree that it's "mostly" what is going on... But there's no way I agree that it's as simple as what side you want your toast buttered on in the AM. It's a big cross to bear in almost all cases.. And certain for some more than others. Calling it a choice really trivializes it, at least in my opinion. Statistically, you're probably talking about a number of people on this forum, although this would be a pretty rough crowd for anything that isn't conservative.joe817 wrote: I have sympathy for the LGBT community, but only to the extent that they all have an unbearable cross to bear, by their own choice.
If you're a lefty and I throw a ball at you, you're probably going to be auto-inclined to catch it with your left hand. That inclination isn't your choice. You could live your life right handed, but the inclination wasn't something that you got to chose. Again, I'm not saying that's how it is across the board, I think that it's not the same for everyone.
And in terms of trans-gender, there are the cases of genetic issues... I would hardly call that a choice.
I don't think you should turn bathroom policy on it's head to accommodate a single client, my guess is that there was more to it than that - likely "how" the complaint was made.
