Thinking of buying one this summer - Champion does not have 1 to rent. Anyone have a Ruger 345 semi auto in town that I can try a few shots thru?
I have other guns that you can shoot in return.
Anyone with a Ruger 345 in B/CS?

Re: Anyone with a Ruger 345 in B/CS?
I do, but I'm down here in Houston.
What I can tell you is that I am very please with mine, and would recommend this .45 to all.
Only con about this pistol is its capacity at a scant 8rds (9 with one in the chamber). At first I was a bit annoyed at having to reload after 8 shots, but this little annoyance did sharpen my reloading skills!
Very accurate and repeatable. Medium double action trigger pull, and light at single.
In addition to the smooth mechanical action, safety features include safety keyed lock, and this firearm will not discharge if the magazine is removed which could be a plus if the gun was wrestled away from you. As a last ditch effort you could pop the clip out.
Let me know if you are ever in the Houston/Galveston area and I would be more than happy to let you try before you buy.
