Dan Wesson Revolver - Low Profile Sights?
My husband and I came across a Dan Wesson Revolver with low profile sights. We have never seen a Dan Wesson Revolver with low profile sights before, and to our knowledge they never made one. This gun looks pretty legitimate though, it is stamped as MONSON made on the frame and does not appear to have had any alterations. The rear sights are cut into the frame similar to the low profile Smith and Wesson revolver sights. Does anyone have any information or experience with a Dan Wesson Revolver made with low profile sights?

Dan Wesson made many short runs of unusual revolvers, including some with fixed barrels. The records from Monson have not been preserved perfectly.

Sorry, my husband (mholcomb1988) posted this under my name and I failed to see it until now.
It's all good; he did post at the DW forums and found out what it was and the average price. The one we found was overpriced and we did not buy it.
We did, however, purchase a S&W 581-1 today, for $337 plus tax ($365 total). It's in good condition. It's tight, the forcing cone is still sharp, and only shows minor holster wear.
We're going to take it out for testing tonight or tomorrow.
