HGCA Gunshow this weekend!
Anyone else going?
I'm really hoping to find a PMR-30, although I'm not gonna hold my breath.

I handled one at the Big Town Gun Show last month. It's amaizing how light it is for it's size, it almost felt like a toy

To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go into the world incapable of preventing violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept defenselessness. How unnatural. How cheap. How cowardly. How pathetic-TN

My sister called and said she is going to the jewelry and gem show while my nephew is going across the parking lot to the gun show. In all honesty, Mr. Shasta will probably go with the nephew to pick up a few things, and we'll probably join them after looking at sparkly things. I won't be looking for much, between the Kimber I bought the husband for his birthday, and my new P238, we've probably blown our budget other than ammo for a good long while.

Yeah, I thought so too actually I think they were like $525 or so. Those were the only two that I've ever seen in stock, I have yet to see one that was available (not backordered) online for less than $500. Happy hunting, I wish you the best of luck and hope that you find one for under $400 like they should be.maverick2076 wrote:Lord, that's high!

Not me. Parking is expensive. You also have to pay admission. And for what?maverick2076 wrote:Anyone else going?
Last time I went the prices at the show were higher than shopping online.

It's cheaper than going to a movie, and at least as entertaining...

my dad and i will be there sunday, looking for a bayonet for his M1 Garand. i'm keeping my eye out for an M1 Carbine, hopefully i'll find something this weekend
Re: HGCA Gunshow this weekend!
I'll be there. Might even drag along a rifle or two I don't shoot anymore. Can't beat it for a day of entertainment. People watching and haggling can be quite fun.

We are having a mini family reunion because of this show! My dad was so impressed last year (and we only had a couple of hours at the show) that he wanted to plan a weekend around it.
