1911 Gunsmith in Houston

Post by Lumberjack98 »

Looking to get some work (trigger and fit) done on a stock Colt commander. I'm thinking about going with Ts but wanted to ask the folks here who else should I consider in the Houston area.

Thanks in advance!

+1 on Lone Star Armory. 1911s are a specialty. Should see some he has built for me. His pistol bench is slow right now so you might get a quick turnaround.

The big 3 in my experience are Briley, Ed V, and Teddy.

Surprised to see Briley's name hasn't come up yet.

Last two or three times I checked with Briley's they were several weeks to months before they could look at my guns.
