TSRA gun show?

Post by Rex B »

I see that TSRA is having a meeting & gun show in Mesquite this weekend.
I am not a member, but I do like to make all the local gun shows I can.
Is this a full-size gun show, or just a few tables for members to swap and visit? Is it worth a long drive from Ft Worth for a non-member who just wants to browse for good deals?

It is a full size gun show. We (the forum) have a table out there for meet and greet. If you join TSRA at the door, admission is free.

I enjoy the TSRA show. It has some different vendors than Market Hall and Big Town, plus raffles for 4H and the like.

What's the table gonna look like? Any banner or signs? I'm going to go around 11-2ish.

There will be a table w/ a banner that says Texas CHL forum. It is not the exact logo of the board. I have not seen it but understand it is very recognizable.
Hope to see you there.
I want to meet all that I can.

The table is #105. As you come in the main entrance we will be to the right on the second isle from the back ( 1 row up from TSRA store booth). The banner will be very similar to the forum logol

Membership is $25.00 for 1 year and $65.00 for 3 years. However, I think in years past there was a discount at the door. This along with free entrance to the show.

For all of you comming from out of town and arriving after dark tonight, be very careful on the bridges as they may refreeze after dark.

Yep, I went to the TSRA show today (Sunday) and met tomc at the Texas CHL Forum booth. Tom, it was nice talking to you today.
I did pick up a nice Smith & Wesson model 10 (5 screw). I am a sucker for old S&W revolvers.
I also picked up an 800 round case of 7.62Rx54 ammo while there.
I thought it was a pretty good show.

Reysc is a great guy, I have had the pleasure of dining with him a few times in the past. We just need to make it to the range together sometime!

Sorry I couldn't make it out there, had work obligations to tend to!
