Re: Florida processing time?

I got a Florida renewal last year and it took about 60 days. This was after the non-background check fiasco, so they may have been backed up, thus causing it to take longer on my renewal than it normally would.

Re: NRA-ILA app

I have the app and I don’t find it very useful. I have found this forum to be the most informative and useful regarding 2a. In fact I’m about to delete the app after about a year on my phone

Re: Deferred Adjudication

I incorrectly thought title V in the Texas Code was family violence. I was able to p.m. a couple people on this form to inquire about this. Thank you KeithB for setting me straight. I now understand where this “list” comes from in 411.1711. Infoman-Thank you for letting me know it is somewhere in Te...

Re: Deferred Adjudication

Thank you for sending me that 88 page document. I found it earlier, but was unable to pick out permanent disqualifiers. Is there a section entitled “Permanent Disqualifiers “ that I am missing? If not, do you have any other helpful guidance other than posting an 88 page document? :tiphat:

Re: Deferred Adjudication

Could someone please tell me where I can find a list of permanent disqualifiers? I’d like to read it. Or is there no single list, they are just dispersed throughout the Public Codes?

Re: Deputy Scot Peterson

I forgot to mention, in that thread on the Florida forum is a link showing the Broward County Sheriff being interviewed a few years ago where he stated he supports gun control. He was also a strong supporter of Hillary Clinton during the presidential election. There are rumblings asking for his resi...

Re: Deputy Scot Peterson

I’ve been reading a thread on the Florida concealed carry forum on this issue as well. According to what I read there, at least a couple sheriffs deputies went in with the city police. But definitely there were four sheriffs Deputies, including Scott Peterson, who stayed out. That does make me wonde...

Re: Bad News from the Scotus--Again

I’m not saying I like the 10 day waiting period, but… I have an eas ier (not easy) time digesting that than I do the fact that we have to be issued a permit/license to carry/possess a firearm. Not trying to hijack this thread and get it on the Constitutional carry conversation. Just saying I can see...
