Just an update. I recieved the actual license in the mail on friday, the 22nd of December.

I was pleasantly surprise to find that Costco in Ft. Worth did not prohibit CC. They had the sign that prohibits unlicensed carry.

What are the laws about shotguns and rifles. I know there is the stereotype of someone who has the shotgun or rifle in the rack on the back window of the pickup.

But, what is the actual law here. Can this be done anywhere? Does it also apply to rifles? What are the restrictions about having rifles ...

I checked the website today, and was pleasantly surprised to see:

Application Completed - license issued or certificate active

The application was recieved on Oct 7. It's Dec 19.

The wait was an exercise in self control. I put it out of my mind, and did not check the website every day. I had to ...
