Re: Colorado taking first steps towards complete confiscation

Ah yes, precrime.. good thing we had a movie about that benefit to society to condition us to willfully surrender our rights to peoples “feelings” So, a severely mentally ill person should just be left alone by his/her family, friends or authorities until a crime is committed? Do you base all of yo...

Re: Magnetic Vehicle Mount

I have a similar product mounts to the side of the console and use a beltholster with a metal belt clip to hold it in place. I am thereby using a belt holster as required in the eye of the law, and my trigger is protected from accidental contact. It allows me to place it in a convenient position for...

Minority Report is now real life under “Red Flag” laws

Looks like Hollywood is winning the war of Propoganda to convince more and more people to voluntarily give up their rights, or use those rights to defend against tyranny. If this keeps up they’ll be herding people encase onto the trains Hey America, it’s “Innocent UNTIL Proven Guilty” not the other ...

Re: Carters Country!!! Dang it!

The horribly unsafe environment of their ranges was the main reason I quit doing business with them. Their pricing was never at a point where I would have bought anything other than targets from them. Their policy on CHL never rubbed me the right way, but as a business I respected it.

Re: Rowlett 17 year old arrested with semi auto rifle

Possession of a rifle by a 17 year old is not a crime. Also, allowing access is restricted to younger than 17, so no crime committed there either. This is the part of the story that has me wondering if we didn’t just read another edition of the Minority Report. If indeed he was not committing a cri...

Re: Buh-Bye Optics Planet

I get it, in this modern world where the Internet of Things is all things we all search for the absolute cheapest price. And I am also guilty of this at times. However as I “age” “mature” “ripen” with age I find that I would much rather help neighbors. I have found that most times I can source from ...

Just looked at his FB page Mr. Cotton, and this is a couple years ago. She was adopted back then. Good On you for trying to help though. :tiphat:

So nothing’s changed since I went there for work circa 2006/7 it would seem. Never understood the draw of that place anyway so no loss

Re: STI International Phasing Out Almost all 1911 Models

Glad I got my son his 9mm Trojan well ahead of this news, as I can imagine what the retailers are going to do to anyone trying to “get in before the lock” so to speak. I don’t blame them for leaving the overbloated 1911 market as it must be hard to maintain profitability against the 100’s of cheap m...

Re: GOP lawmaker drafts bill requiring journalists to register with police

I can empathize with his angst against the complete and utter lack of “standards” to which reporters are held, however this is not the solution. This would de facto put potential for removal of 2nd Ammendment Rights into Law which would be rammed through the courts at light speed. I find it baffling...

As distasteful as I find it, I do agree with Former President Obama. The police should not be armed with the tools of war.

Re: IN: LEO helping rescue trapped victims in a car accident is murdered by one of the trapped men.

^^^ that report is far more damning of the shooter than the previous versions. I am doubtful the marijuana baggies spilling are what had him driving erratically and certainly shouldn't have played into his "flaying about hysterically" trying to get out of the seatbelt. Still no justification as to s...
