Re: E-bikes: anybody have one?
As a former road cyclist and before that, bmx racer, I thought the e-bikes were interesting and even looked into buying one...until I saw the prices! You can buy a reliable used motorcycle for some e-bike price points, and I know, you don't get the fitness benefits on a motorcycle but how much ...

Re: Texas Ranger pulls gun on driver who flipped him off
Just to clarify, he may be from Baytown but has lived in Georgetown for a number of years. Prior to his becoming a Ranger, he was the trooper in charge of the Georgetown DPS office. His rank, if it is the same in the DPS, was that of Sergeant Major. He lives on my street and has always been friendly ...

Can I carry at Tea Party on south steps of the capitol?
Hello Everyone,
It has been a while since I've posted but I have a question on whether or not I can carry to a Tea Party that will be held on the south steps of the Capitol. Also, if I needed to use the facilities inside, can I go in with my CHL? Thanks in advance.

Re: So, anybody else CCW a mousegun?
Okay, based on what both yerasimos and excaliber are telling me I am going to start carrying oc pepper spray. As an executive at a small manufacturing company, I must abide be the dress code and wear my shirt tucked in, but also having been there 14 years I also know its impractical to wear a jacket ...

While I respect your opinion, you still seem to be talking down to me. You seem to have disdain for those (dandies) who frequent Starbuck's, wears Prada or Armani, reads Men's Health an carries a "mouse gun". With the exception of carrying the "mouse gun" thats not me but I will defend ...

Re: Be careful when bicycling
Cycling can be very dangerous and the driver does not have to be drunk. I was once riding on a county road when a lady in a Tahoe took a sharp corner by crossing to the opposite side of the road, my side, and came within a few inches of taking me out. She then yelled obscenities at me as she drove ...

Re: So, anybody else CCW a mousegun?
I just read my post and realized that I didn't make an argument for carrying my P3at and carrying it in an ankle holster, quite the opposite actually. The quotes in my post just made me angry in that they implied the those who carry "mouse guns" have virtually no experience in shooting and therefore ...

Some folks can't - or won't.
It seems that mouse guns are indeed the everyday "primary carry gun" for a surprising percentage of CHL people, people who, by human nature, would otherwise not carry at all due to discomfort ...

I have to question the wisdom of anyone posting a summary of an event that would require not only pulling a sidearm but also firing so soon after the event happened when you know that the investigation is not completed.
This person has already posted so I don't think it out of bounds to ask: Would ...
