Re: Just poking fun at you 1911 guys

The first semi auto i have any faith in is a Browning HP made in Bel. and assembled in Bel. I know its a 9mm. I do remember 2 old gents who ca...

What kind of bullet is the most used in the active shooting matches

I have used a lot of different bullets for Piddling and off hand target shooting . Some Factory but mostly handloads. I am not a picky shooter and if I can keep my shots in a 2 to 3 in circle I am happy. one shooter of comp. is using cast bullets from a Texas firm and I have used some copper plated ...

Re: Dillon 750

I wonder what kind of bullets work the best in a progresive. I have used all kinds and it has never been a problem. that said in the 1960's I used Swaged Hp with speer half jackets. Hot stuff. 26.5 Grains of 2400 with a 220 gr HP in a model 29 6.5 in bbl. The jackets would sometimes come off in flig...

Re: Dillon 750

In regards to what the Miculek clan is doing . They are a business and may use some ammo provided they are running a range and shoot more ammo than single Co is going to provide. I am a person who watches what is going on in the background. You can look at the videos they have let out over several y...

Re: Driving to Michigan - have 1 main question

I have went to Academy and bought several of the hornaday safes and I I understand put a semiauto in one and a magazine and ammo in the other I do not know for sure but I would keep it to 10 rounds. Cable in the Trunk or behind the rear seat. the small safe will hold a BR HP 9mm. I carry a Ruger LCP...

Re: Reloading data for 38 Short and long Colt

Thanks for the info. It give me a place to start. I will start searching for some dies and buy some brass from Starline.
I like their products and buy them in 38sp, 357, 44mag, 380acp and 9mm. My kid wants to shoot 38sp with some very reduced loads
so its easy on her wrist.

Re: Got an unsolicited debt card in the mail

I got a check and have spent 3/4 of it came at a real good time. I also say in jest somebody has been asleep at the wheel. I have been using IRS.gov with it changing almost of the days most of it has to do with how you have been using IRS forms in the last 2 years, how much money you make and if you...
