Maybe Zack Ford (the liberal blogger) has been watching too many Gillette commercials.

Multiple stories in the press. Some say he flashed a gun, some say he fired at the teenagers. Who knows the truth? Not out there yet.

Gee, is it "fair" to use a gun against a robber armed with a crowbar? LOL

Re: Cannon Gun Safe Won't Open: Update

This is all making me nervous. We will probably be investing in a good safe soon, and I've always been leery of newfangled electronic mechanisms. Connections fail, batteries die, wires come loose, etc. I always assumed a mechanical device is more reliable. After reading this, though, I'm not so sur...

Doesn't the key make the safe less secure? My key only locks the dial, it doesn't "unlock" the safe. I would think the key would be easy to pick with minimal skill.
The key is like 7 inches long and only the first part of it is an actual key. Seems like it would be hard to pick.

I read the same article you did. I don't see that the state made a mistake in this case. There are crazy people out there and this guy is one of them.

Re: Cannon Gun Safe Won't Open: Update

I have called Cannon safe several time and waited anywhere from a minimum of 45 minutes to as long as 1hr and 40 minutes without reaching anyone in customer service. There is some good news, though. We had Christmas this weekend for our two daughter's families that live out of town and my middle da...

Re: Government shutdown

I was in the military when there was a big government shutdown over abortions in the late 70's and we didn't get paid and still went to work. This is not new. It was no big deal in the late 70's and no big deal now. We have too much government as it is and as long as the military gets funded I can't...

I bet a bunch of Land Rovers and Japanese vehicles were also involved. Vehicle bans are not part of the democratic agenda (yet).

Low tire pressure can also cause hydroplaning. In cold weather low pressure is more common. Good tires and proper pressure is important. Glad you are okay.

Re: Online Backup Service ?

Norton Ghost failed me when I needed it. For local backups I have found Easeus the most reliable and it always works. They have a free version and always have sales. I have used Acronis in the past but the dvd to boot does not make a readable screen on my monitors and if you can't see it you can't r...

Re: TX: You don't pull your gun because someone eggs your car.

Do we believe the teens who were driving illegally and supposedly threw eggs and then ran a red light and killed someone? They claim that their first victim drew a gun. We should believe this why? I would not rush to judgement on whether an unknown man "pulled a gun" and got away. Perhaps but that's...
