I can't get it to reliably go bang when I pull the trigger with any of the aftermarket springs I've tried. It works with the factory spring, but the trigger pull with that is about 2,000 pounds.

I'll add my 2 cents. Last time i went, they had people at the door asking everyone if they had any type of knifes, weapons on them when they entered. I had to take my knife back to the car.

Kershaw leek is what I carry now. The speed safe assisted open on this knife is awesome, you have to try one out for yourself. I think I paid about $40 for it at my local academy.
