Re: On line classes have started

So, other than signing the 101 after successful completing the proficiency instructions and test, what do we submit to the state? LTC-9, online class equivalent of LTC-8. I have no password to access that form. That’s why I asked. So now we hear the LTC-9 is for on-line providers to report on-line ...

Re: LTC-9

Hmmm. I an doing a Proficiency for an online student tomorrow, and just discovered that I cannot download the LTC-9 reporting form, presumably because I am not an online provider. Can someone send me one? :banghead: Please post back what you find out. I am totally confused on how we complete and re...

Re: TX LTC Target

I think the PC police got involved too. Something along the lines of "rewarding for head shots."

Re: Outdated LTC-100

It's just a re-issue. Date should be actual completion date. Remember it has to match LTC-8 you already submitted

Re: Denial

Just like any business, I would think instructors have the right to deny service for any reason, as long as it isn't one of the "protected classes" - race, religion, etc. I think he is talking about after he has taught the class and the student passed the written and shooting portions. Not a denial...

Denial

Anyone ever recommended denial of a student? If so, what justification is required? Can there be repercussions on the instructor?

Re: Online access for renewals

Make sure you are within 180 days. I think I remember their system calculates days, not months or dates.. Take a calendar, count back 180 days from the day after your expiration.

Also, make sure your address is current.

Re: LTC-100 and Digital Signing

I have my students fill their portion of the LTC100 with signature and proper date of class by hand. Then I make copies and they do not receive their LTC100 until the have passed the class session and the proficiency shooting. I have scanned and sent a pdf file to a student who had a legitimate nee...

g19x

Picked up a G19x. The 19 rd mags only hold18. The official Glock store sells them as 19 rd. Do they really mean the gun holds 19 (18+1)? Maybe springs are too new?

Anyone else seeing this?

Re: Just checking... Current renewal process

The forms are still available for those folks with no computer, or want to do it the old fashion way by snail mail. If you do it on-line (DPS preferred method) the "affidavits" are done on-line also. Remember, one of the things you are "attesting" to (LTC-86) is that you have read from LTC-16 and un...

Re: On-line Student Proficiency

So, if we now have approved "On-line Instructors", doesn't it naturally follow that some of us may start getting proficiency testing request from these folks that did the class on-line? Anyone have any idea what that "not less than one hour, not more than two" is supposed to consist of? And...
