Re: Can Beto O’Rourke really beat Ted Cruz?

Cruz leads O'Rourke 54-45 in Quinnipuac poll While good news... it scares me a bit that it's only 9 pts. That's within the margin of a big dem turnout, which usually doesn't happen here (according to several articles I read recently) but could if other forces fire them up. I'd like to see a 25-30 p...

I have said it many times that "the police have the job of drawing the chalk outline...it is your job to make sure they are not drawing a chalk outline of you."

No matter how many time I have said it, folks don't get it...

Re: Can Beto O’Rourke really beat Ted Cruz?

Slightly off topic but Ted Cruz will be in Wichita Falls on Oct. 3, 2018 and apparently Donald Trump Jr will be with him and I plan on going. It will be in a city owned property and I am wondering if concealed carry will be allowed. Secret service might prohibit? SS has a legal duty to prohibit, th...

UPS I have good luck with ... except for fragile stuff
Fragile stuff usually gets through fine UNLESS...you put a 'FRAGILE' sticker on it...'FRAGILE' is UPS-speak for 'KICK ME'...

I know my veterans plates are transferable from vehicle to vehicle. I put the same plates on my new truck that were on my old truck a couple of months ago. I don't know how it's supposed to work but they sent me regular plates with my registration. I went down to the tax office and filled out the fo...

Re: IWB Padding?

The big thing with the hybrid holsters is that the leather tends to decide for itself where it wants to settle. You might put it on at about 3:30 and it will settle in around 4:30... The non-hybrid holsters tend to sit where you put them. I find the hybrids more comfortable but to each to figure out...

Re: kydex holsters

The products I have had issues with are from Comp-tac. I have several carry/competition guns so they get rotated depending on what I am carrying for the day. My major issue has been with the magazine holders. Though just normal use (less than 50 hours, sometimes much less), the clips on these holde...

If I'm wrong please tell me: You're all speaking of IWB holsters...right? With an OWB, the only type I've ever used be they leather or bolatron or kydex with not one did I go through all this type (over time) dissatisfaction. Get an OWB, you'll experience fewer problems and greater comfort. The Cro...

No problem at Angelo State University. I tagged along through the dorm check-in, parking tag, and mail key processes as well as being a carrier of stuff into her room. Never saw a sign. Here is a link to ASU's policy https://www.angelo.edu/president_welcome/prohibited-areas-for-campus-carry.php . G...

Re: Banks getting in on the action

I stopped doing business with B of A a long time ago when they wanted to charge a fee to visit with a human teller rather than the ATM. Same here. They are a terrible bank in so many ways. NCNB bought B of A and took the name. NCNB had such a horrible reputation they had to do it. The reality is B ...

Re: Anti-Gun Corporate Trends

peer to peer digital money transactions I’m unfamiliar with this terminology. I might know what it is, but by another name. The word "bitcoin" sends some people around here into conniptions, so I did not use it, but also because it's not accurate. I installed the "Cash" app a couple of weeks ago. C...
