Re: Stay Warm and Safe the Next Few Days
Power went out for me around 3:30 AM. Came back for about an hour at 2:30 PM, then off until just now. FIL has a load manager reading the voltage and it is dipping from 108V to 104V. Not sure how long the power will last, but we are grateful for every joule we can pump into heat in the house. Lowest...

Re: Ammo Shortage Will Last Deep into 2021
What I am a bit dismayed by is the number of people in America that have gone full blown Karen. What kind of person actually sends a hateful email to an ammo manufacturer because they can't get ammo? On top of this, there were enough of these whiney Karens to cause the ammo manufacturer to put out ...

Re: "School Sponsored" scope....
After the posts you quoted, an AG Opinion was issued that supports my analysis. It dealt with courthouses rather than schools, but the operative language was identical. The AG opined that the administrative Judge can ban handguns only in the areas of a building the court uses and can control. This ...

Re: Hope!
Another thing to consider, what if Roberts is playing a longer game - passing on sub-par firearms cases that would result in a 5-4 vote from the Supreme Court. What if he is looking for strong cases that, now with a 6 judge majority are more convincing for precedent's sake because it wasn't a mere m...

Re: "School Sponsored" scope....
I cannot find it right now, but Charles has gone into this at length before. If I remember his explanation correctly, he explains that it can only apply to places where the school has control of the property to begin with. Much as the example given about the office building, consider a zoo or museu...

Re: Amy Coney Barrett
Because as we have seen, the Democrats will take their marbles and go home if they don't like the way things are going rather than working within the system to register their complaints/dislike. If the ballot box is where we get our voices heard, then the Senate vote is where their voices should be ...

Re: Amy Coney Barrett
Don't get too excited yet. Yes, her nomination made it out of the Senate Judiciary committee, but she still has to be confirmed through a vote by the whole Senate.crazy2medic wrote: ↑Thu Oct 22, 2020 9:00 am https://www.breitbart.com/news/senate-p ... y-barrett/

Re: Covid and 51%
Others had not been including things like ticket sales for live music events, and when they totaled that up their alcohol sales dropped to under 51%. Some slightly creative business practices and accounting, but nothing illegal. This right here should be how it is ALL the time - not just when it is...
