Re: DFW West/Southwest Quadrant Breakfast

Except for the exceptionally loud Frisco ice machine!!! :-) SIA You mean the ice machine that seems to only have a problem with you? Haha I'm feeling much better this week. Barring any crazy unforeseen problems, I'll be seeing y'all on Saturday. Can't wait! I think I'm going to hit the range. 10:30...

Re: Meanwhile in France

Or that HIAS is inviting terrorists into the US? Did you even stop to look at some of the nonsense presented on that website? Unless you ...

Re: Red Dot VS. Scope - choice for AR-15

Took the Micro Roni out for a range test. Mixed results: At 25 yards had a very nice small fist sized group, so pistol precision increased as expected with the more stable platform. Had to be mindful of the offset of the RDS optic vs. the G19 bbl or would affect location of grouping at 25 yards (did...

Re: "Gritty" trigger on M&P 2.0 Compact

Google "gritty trigger" M&P Compact 2.0.

Brings up a lot of hits. Seems that the striker block needs polishing as well as some other parts, but can be a tricky operation - or just go with Apex.

Good news is that its the gun, not you :biggrinjester:

Re: Red Dot VS. Scope - choice for AR-15

TAM, When I travel I by truck I carry my G19 Gen4 concealed strong side hip. By having the Roni and the RDS (and some 33 round mags), I can increase the effective distance over which I am accurate with the pistol (say from 25 out to 50 yards). I completely acknowledge the correctness of your statem...
