Re: Alcohol and self defense

Take the trash our first, get what you need from the truck before you imbibe, and don't carry when you drink. Simple.

Re: Truck broken in to, pistol stolen...I’m mad at myself

When I drive to the airport, I use a secured off site parking lot (Parking Spot) to manage that risk. It's also cheaper than parking at the terminal. Re: New 6.5 Creedmoor.

Love the external ballistics of the 6.5 Cr. I prefer the AR platform over a bolt action and have run my seekins ar-10 out to 800 yards virtually effortlessly using Hornady 140 GR ELD.

I'm 58 but could pass for and feel like 68 at times. Maybe I should sue and see if they will put me on Medicare and start my full Social Security now. :???:
I will join you. Class action in the making!

Re: Button Rifle Barrels vs. Hammer Forged

The Marshal, Thanks for your input. The article I read also mentioned that 'free floating' barrels are more accurate and I'm fairly sure that's true, but on a general purpose AR fixed barrel (if that's the correct terminology), that's not being used as a competition rifle and one I've yet to shoot ...

Re: Can Beto O’Rourke really beat Ted Cruz?

Republicans in Texas better wake up and figure out how to get Hispanic votes and suburban votes. In my area which historically has been strongly Republican, I now have a Democrat state senator and a Democrat state rep who doesn't even live in the district. And my Congressman, Marchant, just barely ...

Re: Tumbleweeds

Tumbleweeds 2 should pick up with Nate and Cindy's daughter, running a huge ranch/pecan orchard. With a stage line stop, and hotel, the Black Mule Inn. With ornate grave markers for Ed Rawlins, Willow Mae, Zeke, Lucy, Granny Ruth, and the mule. Rosa travelling with her Ranger husband, and putting o...

Re: Can Beto O’Rourke really beat Ted Cruz?

Congrats Ted Cruz!!! :txflag: Still can't believe the arrogance of wealthy out of stater's trying to hi-jack our Texas election. They don't live here and have no right to interfere with our election. Unfortunately the out of state interference elected a football player for my representative. Lets h...
