Re: 1st LEO contact with LTC

Sorry that happened to you. I carry an "accident check list" on my visor for just such an occasion. First thing on there is the other party's information. you may want to consider getting a dashcam. I bought one but it's only front facing and they do make others that will record front and ...

I really hope that there is another side to this story. If not, it looks bad.

Re: Would you shoot?

I have often seen the bases of PVC target stands filled with cement for stability. Would you know if that PVC pipe is hollow or not? Create as much distance as possible but if that's not working it's time to TCB.

My understanding is that the bill listed below is a done deal in Tennessee and becomes law at the end of the month:

Re: What is your night stand gun?

EDC rotates between a G30, G26 and a LC9S Pro. Night stand guns are a G17 with a TLR-2 HL and the wife has a S&W 29-3 .44 mag. There is also a S&W M&P Sport II with an attached light very close. There are dogs in the house but they're not really vicious. I just want them to bark and give...

Re: S&W M&P15 Sport II

Bought mine about a month ago. It's a good basic rifle. Easy zero right out of the box. I added a TRS-25 budget red dot, a light, magpul hand guards and a bipod/handgrip. I was in the Army for 24 years and carried M4s (carbines) almost all of those years. This just feels nice an familiar to me. Let ...

Re: OWB help please!

I really like my Galco Fletch. It's a pancake holster and sits pretty tight to my hip. I'm at work so I can't measure the belt openings but I believe they are 1.75". It's a well made, professional looking holster with a thumb strap. I think the thumb strap is essential when open carrying (which...

Re: CA: Trump supporters attacked like prey in San Jose

Gotta say, I'm not a fan of Trump but if these are the people that are against him then I should probably be FOR him. These types of attacks certainly didn't happen at the Bikers for Trump rally. Just sayin'

Re: Dallas County DA Susan Hawk

Disclaimer: This is NOT a post meant to start a political battle of any kind. Period. Rather a question of the authority granted to a person who has shown they are not necessarily stable. Does anyone know if DA Hawk is legally able to purchase a firearm? A quick google search showed she's been in a...

Re: Carry gun suggestions

The 10 + 1 is the problem. When you go to the double stacked mag they get thicker and heavier. The Glock 26 would give you the same trigger and a pretty much seamless transition if you are going to switch carry guns back and forth. You could also use a mag from your G 19 as a second mag with more r...

Re: Optics Planet, -2 stars!

I quit doing business with Optics Planet some time ago. On 3 different occasions, I ordered from them only to have items (that their website said were in stock) placed on backorder, only to find they had an active eBay listing for the same item. :mad5 The same thing happened to me with a holster or...

Re: Disarmed by uninformed officer

My son is working his way through college as a armed security patrol supervisor. He will tell you himself, comparing a $10-12/he standing post security guard to a full time police officer working as,part time security is very seldom going to come down in favor of the security guard when it comes to...
