Re: What would you do

It's important to always be aware of your surroundings - make sure it's not a ruse. Assuming no one else in the store, "HEY!!! STOP IT!!!" while moving away... he probably wouldn't. "STOP OR I'LL SHOOT!" with my weapon drawn. If he doesn't stop and keeps punching the other guy with that level of sav...

State Police contact - GOOD

I was in the carpool lane on I-45 when I was pulled over. I was doing 75 in 65. Partly why I was speeding was because I saw an SUV tailgating me, and I wanted to get more distance between us since crossing a double solid line is illegal. When he hit his lights, only then did I notice it was State Po...

Re: Glock 19 poll.

I carry my G19 in Triple T IWB holster - I have Crimson Trace laser attached and still fits like a champ... Interestingly enough, that same holster fits my XDm 3.8 very nicely as well which I also carry on occasion. Really depends on my mood when I'm getting dressed.

In my zip code (~24000 people), a little over 2400 have their CHL. Absolutely love it!

Re: LTC licenses now being issued

Definitely not planning on OC... Why attract attention, positive or negative? I don't want people thanking me for exercising OUR right, nor do I want some bimbo mom screaming, nor do I want to deal with law enforcement asking me for my CHL, nor do I want to get into debates about 2A, really don't wa...

Re: Is shooting through your front door legal in Texas

If it was middle of the night, I'd grab my Mossberg 930SPX Blackwater loaded with 7+1 of 00 buck and my EDC (Glock 19) from my nightstand, then take up a defensive position with about 25 feet between the front door and my position. I'd let the guy take the door down before I'd engage... the perps wo...

Florida CHL charged with murder

What an idiot... if someone is overly aggressive on the road, de-escalate and let them go around you. If they're aggressive and following you, write down their plate number and call it in, then drive towards the closest police station. You don't take them towards your house. People like this give us...

Re: Officer body-cam footage Palestine

This is about as clean cut as it gets and I'm sure will be used in training for all law enforcement. One thing I'm trying to understand is why the police didn't search/cuff him in the bathroom. I thought Terry would have allowed them to at least check for weapons. Not to be a Monday morning quarterb...

Re: CHL's kill hundreds

So using their arguments, should we disband the police force too, especially in light of that North Carolina cop executing a fleeing man? There are bad apples in every organization or group... sadly, law enforcement seems to have a higher crime rate than CHL. Should we disband the police force? http...

Re: Man assaulted during Wally Walk

I would have shot him and any other "hero" that attacked me. A choke hold is dangerous and not just because of possible suffocation. I'll often walk with my weak side hand in my pocket, holding my back up gun. :iagree: Me too. Wouldn't even think twice about it... Hindsight is always 20/20, but we ...
