Re: Be careful when you hunt hogs....

Does cocaine affect hogs like it does humans? I don't think I would like to meet a herd of feral hogs amped up on coke.

Re: DPS Affidavit: Poncho Nevarez Dropped his Cocaine

Sounds like he's basically 'fessed up: On Thursday, Nevárez, who chairs the House Homeland Security & Public Safety Committee, said in a statement to The Texas Tribune that "the news is true" — and that's why he decided against seeking re-election to the lower chamber. "I do not have anyone to blame...

Re: 30.06 Ruling Letters

The appeal trundles on. Court records and exhibits from the trial court have been filed with the clerk of the Third District Court of Appeals. The Appellant's (Ken Paxton's) brief is due to the court 12/06/19. I assume this is where he will lay out exactly what is being appealed.

Re: Japanese Documentary: Govt knew A-bomb was coming, did not warn cities

... I can’t think of a similar or valid reason the Japanese government would not warn their people. Did you read the posts at the link? I think there is a case to be made that the government was so bureaucratically inept and so overwhelmed by (losing) the war that they didn't quite put 2 and 2 toge...

Re: BAD DATE: Man steals woman's car on date, takes her godsister to drive-in

For some reason it reminds me of an amusing incident from high school. This guy in my class, kind of an obnoxious knothead, bought a brand new KZ-400 motorcycle one summer, and was pretty proud of it. He also had eyes on this cute girl in the class behind ours. He talked about her a lot, and hung ar...

Re: PSA for color blindness....

Heh! FWIW, when I was in the Air Force getting my yearly physical, I regularly ID'd every single numeral or letter in those flipchart color-blind tests they had. I didn't realize it until one of the docs commented on it. He said almost no one gets all of them, but they don't usually tell you if you ...

RIP children of a gun control activist who couldn't control herself.

TX: Mom kills her 3 children, self

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news ... er-suicide

MSM sources seem to not report that she was a Gun control activist. The Washington Examiner and some other smaller on line sources do include that.
