Re: Are Police Able to Do This Just Because They Want To?

Ah, ok. I missed that. Thanks.

But even at that, I can see a lawsuit coming over at least some of those restrictions; especially the banning of face coverings. Might be interesting.

Bullying? Mean? Evil? What?

Just browsing through the news today and keep seeing stuff like this. And this isn't from the "Crimes" page or anything like that, it's just there in the general news, from a single news website, without even searching for this kind of stuff: A Minnesota man was arrested after picking up an 8-year-o...

Re: Church Security Team help!!

I volunteer in our (very) small church's informal security team. I'm not sure how (or if) our team members would be covered by our church's insurance policy if there ever were any kind of incident (yes, I definitely need to check into that). But, I do know that representatives of the self-defense in...

TDS Growing Every Day

TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) continues to grow across the nation. I wonder when the CDC will begin research on this terrible malady? Has the condition been added to the DSM yet? Inquiring minds want to know! President Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was destroyed by a...

Funny and sad at the same time.

Funny because... well, it's just funny!

Sad because it's probably true!

Re: FBI Agent has ND

The FBI agent who accidentally shot someone while dancing at a Colorado nightclub in June can carry his gun again, both on and off duty, a judge ruled Tuesday. Bishop, who lives and works in Washington, D.C., was charged with second-degree assault in the shooting. The hearing was scheduled for pros...

Re: Man attacks teens in San antonio over MAGA hat

My greatest concern of out this incident is not the dolt to created it but the "wanna-bees" who might copy it. The harder that society comes down on the originator, the less attractive that the repeats might seem. I do understand that some are drawn to the limelight, regardless of the consequences ...

If Cops Won't, then Give Me a Chance

Short topic title, maybe misleading. Let me explain. An armed, veteran police officer stood idle for several minutes last October as the Las Vegas gunman slaughtered dozens of concertgoers from a perch one floor up Regarding news released about a Las Vegas LEO who "froze up" during the mass murder o...

Re: It Is Terrible To Be A Liberal In 2018 – Which Is Awesome

I agree, it is awesome! Let's do celebrate a YUGE win! But not to be a downer, and before we start dancing on Liberalism's grave, let's remember this: Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by nearly 3 million. For now, yes, life is good and I'm very happy to see the country moving in (IMHO) the right...

SCOTUS to Address Civil Forfeiture Laws

Good news. Long overdue in my opinion. The idea of civil forfeiture of property associated with a crime might have been of some merit originally, but the process has been severely abused for a very long time now. I am not "soft on crime," but I personally sincerely hope that the Supreme Court puts a...
