Re: OT: Texas Backroad Borders

I love the idea, and may try some of it myself. But I don’t see how this is ‘off topic’ - it certainly would be prudent to be well-armed. I believe they cross into Mexico a few times. Good idea, but illegal to be armed there. To me it seems rather easy to not cross into Mexico accidentally while in...

Re: Turkey: Saudi journalist last seen at Saudi consulate in Turkey

I still don't know why we care about this. Because the media says we should be outraged that this has happened. A terrorist sympathizer killed by a foreign government on that government's soil is a travesty. Even though our president killed American citizens on foreign soil with no outrage. And the...

Re: LA Passes Ordinance Requiring City Contractors To Disclose NRA Ties

“For the sake of transparency, the city’s residents and stakeholders deserve to know how the city’s public funds are being spent, and whether taxpayer funds are being spent on contractors that have contractual or sponsorship ties with the NRA,” the motion states. You think the city will be transpar...

Scary stuff here. Next they will want to know your religion. Sort of like calling for a ban on travel to the US for those of a certain religion? Yes, scary indeed, when we abandon Constitutional principles, in California or D.C. What people were blocked from coming to America? Was Indonesia include...

Look into Germania (out of Brenham), my policy has firearms covered as normal contents, just as clothes, furniture, etc. No extra scheduling required. Contact an agent near you!! LOL!! :iagree: That was one of the reasons I went with Germania. Back when I was much younger, I had some guns stolen fr...

Just saw on the news that the debate is back on! Tonight at 8pm.
I don't know if I can watch another one. I tried very hard not to say bad words at the TV during the last one. Good thing there is playoff baseball on at the same time.

I watched complete video of step by step, with time stamp of the hit team, with their names on CCTV surveillance systems. The names and ID of each member of the hit team where revealed. It was commentated in Arabic. It was an ordered hit. The team was in and out in less than 24 hrs. Apparently this...

Re: Tumbleweeds discussion

I am enjoying the parallel story lines. They initially caught me off-guard but I adjusted okay :) Oh, I was worried about the mule as my family's default rule was that if it had a name it didn't end up on the table. Otherwise, well you know... That rule worked out well for my Dad's pet chicken, Mar...

Small town circles the wagons

I've withheld posting this for awhile, not sure why but I have wanted to share this for a while. Back story: We have been living in a camper while our shop is being built to then build living quarters inside. My family was staying outside my mom's house but she decided to sell her house so my brothe...

Finally something I can't agree with Trump about, increased ethanol in gasoline. Terrible stuff in gasoline.
:iagree:

This stuff kills carbs in small engines.

Been wearing a horse hide with internal stiffener every day for over 3 years.

Been thinking of getting one from Tucker to match the HF1 I have plus the internal stiffener sometimes is not fun to thread onto the HF1.

I hope they took his bed sheets, pillow case, and clothes out of his cell. There are plenty of creative ways he could "commit" suicide.

A prohibits leaving the state with the weapon
So along with violating the 2nd Amendment, the city is trying to regulate interstate travel? Or is the city looking out for it's subjects by proactively keeping them from traveling to NJ with a firearm?

Re: Waco PD K9 attacks handler, was killed to save human LEO.

One of the stories a few days ago said it bit the officer in the groin and his partner was worried about the dog biting the femoral artery. Edit to add: I found the article. https://www.kwtx.com/content/news/Local-officer-reported-down-495285811.html Initial reports indicated the officer was bitten ...
