Re: Ultimate Woke

I'm really not sure I understand the point of their efforts. Sperm donor banks typically offer such benefits as brains, beauty, health etc... Other than a life itself (which may/may not be healthy, I don't see an upside. What benefit are they offering, and that I'm missing, that a regular sperm dono...

Looks like someone in a hurry loaded a 45 into that case. Hopefully they saw their mistake long
before pulling the trigger.

Re: Hot Shots in houston

You might need to explain to this ol' coot right here what a hotshot driver is. I've been driving for far longer than 4 years (heck, I don't even bother counting anymore). Someone who hauls smallish cargo loads, a load that would be more of a hassle for an 18 wheeler. The typical vehicle is usually...

Re: Businesses that post 30.06 \ 30.07 and don't provide security??

Almost a month old but my wife heard on tonights news that another survivor or loved one has joined the lawsuit against Wal-Mart for not providing adequate security. A horrible event, I hope it works out in their favor & helps provide some closure for all. https://www.ktsm.com/news/widow-of-el-paso-...

[/quote] You m on both sides here. There are many things businesses do and have done that have endangered people and their lives. Re: Forum members dog poll

We currently have four & so long as I'm alive I'll always have at least one. I've had at least one
since 1977 & as many as 6. Almost all have been rescues or strays that stayed.
Cats... uh.. no. I love animals but, not a cat person. They have their place, just not my place.

Re: Nov 14th - "AndyC" a US Citizen

TAM, TAW, and myself were lucky enough to see AndyC become a citizen today. It was quite an event. 759 people from 93 countries became US citizens today at the Plano Event Center. This venue has seating for approximately 4,500 people, and I would say the place was 90% filled. The gentleman who was ...

Also just to be fair, the McDonalds case wasn't frivolous. McDonalds was holding their coffee at 190F - hot enough to cause third degree burns in 3 seconds if spilled. They had been warned multiple times that it was too hot and didn't do anything to change their policies. The lady got third degree ...

If it was any place other than Kalifornia, I would think they would never win a suit of this nature. - why wouldn't they win a suit like this? Why would they? It is not the responsibility of anyone to keep you safe. That falls on you. Imagine a world where anyone that happened to be at a convenienc...

Well :headscratch , that's just foolish, and then those same people who decide this is a good idea wonder
