Re: Alcohol and self defense

I haven't drunk to get drunk in probably almost 40 yrs, I prefer quality over quantity. That said, store your Bourbon/liquor in the freezer along w your glass. No longer do you need ice that spoils the flavor. Simply sip & enjoy. Don't forget to alternate a glass of water to keep hydrated and keep a...

Re: 2A Interview with popular magazine

Hello Everyone, sorry I fell off the radar here, lots of good information and advice, I read as much as I could before going in/in the waitroom. The interview was with Time Magazine. It turned out to be a photo shoot, then the interview was actually the opportunity to say literally whatever we want...

Re: Texas Judge Releases Nearly All Defendants After Losing Re-Election

Sad story. I don't know the man/judge, only read the article you linked. This sounds/reads like the very
definition of a spoiled, entitled child.

Re: Early Voting

All voting were middle aged to geezers. heeyyy, I resemble that remark  My wife & I just swung thru McKinney CCC campus. We parked & walked in looking for the end of the line. Sorry. It turned out to be there was NO line. Pulled out our IDs and walked right to the check in table, sign, vote & ...

Re: Student with filthy Glock

WD-40 Silicone spray works very well. The carrier evaporates so it doesn't collect dirt, dust etc & leaves the silicone to lubricate. It comes out of the ultra sonic cleaner warm and gets blown out w compressed air & hosed down w silicone before it cools. After a few minutes, oil as normal & reassem...

Re: Liberty gun safes

My wife bought me the Cabelas Outfitter by Liberty for my birthday. Floor model w minor cosmetic scratches and the salesman was really motivated to clear it out. For me the EMP resistant push button lock is a much quicker entry than my twist combo. Any safe that you get NEEDS to be bolted. At almost...

I'm not entirely certain if my question is germane, but here goes: Think my Cabelas credit card would be problematic next time I buy a firearm from Cabelas?
Not sure but, I think Cabelas switched their credit cards away from b of a, I don't have theirs.

Re: Cabela’s Faces Lawsuit After Man Who Purchased Antique Firearm Committed Murder

There's a slight detail that might throw a wrench in the suit. Ohio doesn't require background checks on black powder firearms. So if it's an antique/curio and black powder, which description prevails? According to the provided link Ohio treats all firearms the same, black powder as well, and Ohio ...

Re: UT: Screwdriver v Gun, Homework Assignment

No one’s health was at risk. The Officer closed the distance and placed himself in peril ( if there was any). Your attitude of “I’m going home safe tonight” has gotten innocent people killed. The job is inherently dangerous. If you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen. We can monday morning ...

Re: UT: Screwdriver v Gun, Homework Assignment

Why couldn't he have waited for more officers to arrive? Are there none or were they too far away? I get it that there were two people to be concerned with, but IMHO the officer is the one that escalated this by closing in on her. What threat was she out back there with only her, her friend, and th...

Re: Bullying? Mean? Evil? What?

Personally, I believe it's a combination of 2 things that you thought. You referenced happenings from across the country. It used to be that you only heard about things (good or bad) in your town/county and sometimes that took hours or even days to reach you. Over time with techological advances you...
