Kydex (plastic) is hard on the frame's finish. I don't mind wear on my EDC (Sig P239) but I would rather not accelerate it with kydex so my holsters are leather. I practice EDC. I carry one of these two depending on my clothing & weather. I favor the SW5904 in the winter months and the 709 in the hotter months.
