Re: Carrying your license to carry

The 4 things I always have in a traffic stop are: My DL, my LTC, my auto insurance card, and a little patience and respect for the LEO. I forgot my wallet once while carrying. As soon as I realized it I took the holster off and put everything in the console. Like others have suggested I carry my DL...

The request, never mentions, LTC holders. It is only asking about county employees, and elected officials. I don't know if the Sheriff,or the County Attorney, are not clear on the statute, or if this has nothing to do with the general public.
Implied from the AG opinions he cited.

Re: Request for TX AG Opinion - Bosque County

Beat me to it. Just saw the email. This should be interesting. I bet he’ll say they can ban due to employment (employer policy) but hope he clarifies that LTC can carry in the same locations.

I see it in the summary but looking at the text I can’t find it. Too good to be true? Or am I just not looking in the right spot?

Re: American Bank center convention center

Signage doesn’t matter. My case with NCAD had no signage involved. Same as your case, an officer gave you verbal notice. VERBAL NOTICE. That is or at least should be sufficient to bring forth an investigation from the AG. I’ll dig into my notes and contacts tomorrow so you will have a jumpstart on t...

Re: American Bank center convention center

And The Event Was a Best of the Best for area Businesses. i'm sure i'll be back to confirm posting on main Entrance. I’ve delt rather extensively with CCPD internal affairs regarding officers enforcing no carry where they cannot do so (NCAD building). I briefly told IA that this issue would extend ...

Re: Officer Invades Apartment, Shoots Resident

This is getting comical. The innocent guy gets shot in his own apartment and they search his apartment lookingnfor contraband? To smear the name of a Dead man unbelievable. They really are trying to throw this under the rug per say. What does him having marijuana in his OWN apartment have to do wit...

Re: Texas State Capitol

Sounds lik it's easier to carry at the capitol, than Hays Co Government building. Went there the other day and they made me wait 10 minutes while they "ran" my ltc and then proceeded to follow me to the tax office, wait outside for me to leave, and then followed me to the door. Kind of ridiculous. ...

Re: Texas Carry Executive Director sued for filing signage complaint against Waller County

Am I not mistaken that now that this case is resolved the AG can move forward I’m their case against Waller? Or is it the Austin case that is holding up the other cases against counties? I wonder how much money this case is going to cost the citizens of Waller county or if it even affects the electe...

Re: Allen Event Center posted 06 & 07

Sorry this is a few days late and couple dollars short, but a friend and I went to the gun show at the Allen Event Center two weekends ago and upon entering saw two 06 & 07 signs as we paid. The Texas3006.com web site also says the signs are invalid. Who do we need to contact to get them to obey th...

It’s always telling when the task force cars are looking southbound and not so much north bound.
