It’s always telling when the task force cars are looking southbound and not so much north bound.

Whataburger has a policy of no open carry, but concealed is fine. Just like HEB.
I’ve open carried after hunting at the whataburger in Boerne off 10 and I believe 46. No one said a thing. I ate in peace and left. I believe the tolerance for OC varies according to stores and managers.

Re: Gov. Greg Abbott announced a new school safety plan and proposed changes to gun laws

When are the Santa Fe shooter's parents, or any other mass shooter under 18's parents, going to be charged with making firearms accessible to minors? Putting adults in jail for not keeping their firearms secure is a big step in the right direction. Just my .02, LeonCarr So what about this story... ...

Re: AT&T Stadium for Non-Scholastic/Non-Professional Event

The legal technicalities regarding this issue are way beyond me, but I can imagine a scenario where off-duty police or private security prevent someone from entering the facility, and the city still maintains that they are not responsible. The police might also point out that the officers involved ...

Re: AT&T Stadium for Non-Scholastic/Non-Professional Event

It has been my understanding that if a govt entity leased property to a third party, like a concert promoter, that third party could post the property. Maybe that is just the excuse they want to give us. :confused5 That is true but the sign would still be unenforceable. In the case of a concert I’m...

Re: Any Recourse Against Sneaky Tax Raise?

If your already ag you can convert to wildlife but the tax rate will stay the same as whatever ag production value it was on previously. I recently converted my 18 acres from hay to wildlife. I had problems with appraiser saying I had to have 50 acres as that was in the guidelines. The law doesn’t s...

What a bunch of nonsense - so we have 30-06, 30-07, 51% and something that looks like a 51% sign but isn't :mad5 We also have another one to worry about - I hadn't seen one of these signs before: https://www.texas3006.com/view.php?id=17793 If I’m reading this right it’s equivalent to a class c like...

Re: Any Recourse Against Sneaky Tax Raise?

You’re not alone. Every year I have to protest mine. Take pics of any damages and get estimates too. Sometimes their estimate on repairs are off. Also if you can find comparables it will help. The appraisers will find the high ones you need to find the low ones. Bring any and all documentation and t...

Re: City ordnance

But c ends with “as required by state law” which could be read as they will not be posted. I should add I have not seen any signs on city property prohibiting licensed carry. Not that they may not be out there but I haven’t seen any. I just thought it odd that this ordnance might be running afoul of...
