Re: suppressor

I imagine the take so long to discourage people from buying them. What parts do you recommend to make your own solvent trap?

Form 4 + $200 + commercial suppressor + probably a year wait.

Form 1 + $200 + homemade suppressor + around 3 week wait.

Re: EDC knife

That’s a good description of the PM2. One of these days I think I’ll have to own a 940. I like the lines and the aluminum chassis

Re: EDC knife

The steels used on the BM 940 and the Spyderco Para 2 are incredible rust resistant. You don’t need the coating unless you want it. They are powder steels with more chromium and less carbon. They are a harder steel. This means they are a little harder to sharpen but hold an edge very well. I agree t...

Re: EDC knife

I am not certain what the coating on the tenacious is. The higher end knives like the paramilitary 2 and such have a DLC coating or (diamond like coating) which is very tough. I would imagine it’s a type of epoxy paint of some sort.

Re: EDC knife

I have had the tenacious. Great knife. I would suggest getting the black blade. 8cr13mov steel rusts very easily. Takes a wicked sharp edge but due to the higher amount of carbon in it, it tends to rust more. The black blade will help keep it protected. I have carried spyderco for about the last ten...

Re: Glock Killer ?

The real Glock killer may have finally been found – at least for me. I hear this term, “Glock Killer” from time to time and although I understood the concept, it puzzled me a bit in that if you built something just a good as a Glock, why would anyone change from something that they were familiar wi...

I have firearms placed strategically around my house. When I hit the door at night, I see how fast I can be walking around in my underwear.I can't find any underwear that will hold up my handgun.

Home Carry?

In recent light of many Home invasions while people are home, I’ve decided home Carry is important. I thought this poll would be fun to discus. If you never know when you will need it while out and about, doesn’t that carry over to home life as well?

Favorite carry method?

What’s your favorite way to carry your pistol / Mags ? I really don’t change where I carry that often. Since hurting my back I’ve had to go to appendix carry almost strictly and carry a spare mag in a desantis mag packer pocket holster. Behind my hip or even at 3:00 gives me pain and is harder for m...
