Re: USAF pilots' ejection seats to have M4 variant & 120 rounds.

I really don’t see that much of an advantage over splitting the upper and lower? What are you gaining 4 inches? In all reality you don’t gain or lose any length just splits more evenly. I don't understand. The length of the kit is has the dimensions of 16 x 14 x 3.5 inches.” So I assume that the le...

Re: For those who carry a 5” 1911

I carry my commander in a bravo concealment owb kydex 99% of the time. I’m a bigger guy and it conceals with very little effort. I carry my full size with a streamlight occasionally in an on your 6 kydex. The full size is a little bit much to carry all the time, with the flashlight. I also have a ga...

Re: My 1911 is in the stable!

I actually only own 1911’s as far as handguns go, and I carry my commander size ruger all the time. I have only had one malfunction out of hundreds of rounds of all makes and types. It was with fiochi 230gr ball amo, and I had a no feed. I had complete ejection and the next round was never grabbed. ...

Re: Carry at gun show

I get way more entertainment value out of going and seeing interesting things than I do a potential discount. As stated before, most prices are pretty much the same as big box stores. I found it convenient for me to find everything I need under one roof rather than running around to different stores...

The future sure looks pretty dark right now, hopefully it doesn’t absolutely collapse, but I know if it does I’ll be able to handle myself.

Re: NO more FGC for me!

I just don’t really like gun ranges at all, I’m way happier in the back yard by myself or with a few buddies. I realize everyone doesn’t get that luxury though. Mind you I worked at a gun range for a year or so, I just really can’t bring myself to go to noisy gun ranges with rude employees that thin...

Re: Hearing damage +P

I’m only 24, but growing up I was “too cool” for earpro, and now my ears ring just about constantly. Now anytime I’m shooting I have at least one type of ear pro, and I really like to double up. The hog problem unfortunately won’t be solved by hunting/trapping. There will eventually have to be a sys...

Pshh, I've had a job since I was at least 14 and could have had that. I paid for every one of my vehicles! That said absolutely outstanding work by local law enforcement and Dallas FBI branch.

Re: WTS: CMMG .22LR bcg adapter and magazines for AR15

Last bit of the Strogg household spring cleaning of 2018. I have here a way you can turn your small game rifle into a short range varmint rifle. Or pistol, depending on what you have. This thing works extremely well as long as you don't use the magazine it came with (pictured below on left). It jam...

Re: Curious as to what the instructors/“experts” carry?

My instructor for LTC course only carried 1911's. He called all other guns throw away's. I guess your LTC Instructor likes doing live fire malfunction drills. :smilelol5: I think he just prefers a sidearm combat proven for over 100 years!! :coolgleamA: All jokes aside I would bet that instructor is...
