I havent logged on for a while and I noticed my avatar is missing. I tried to add a new one and it says it needs to be"Maximum dimensions; width: 80 pixels, height: 80 pixels, file size: 6.00 KiB.". However, the forum rules state this: "16. Avatars area allowed but they are subject to...

Re: Chaz7138 on Texas3006.com claim on letter size of 30.06

Resurrecting an old topic. My credit union is not normally posted 30.06. I love that. But today I went to a more remote location. Went inside. I am pretty good about looking for 30.06 signs. I checked on the way in and didn’t see anything big enough to be 30.06. I go inside and am third in line. Th...

Re: Question on Shipping a gun within the state of texas...

In addition, Federal law requires that the carrier be notified that the shipment contains a firearm.... As I filled out the on-line shipping form, I said in a very loud voice - 'It's a firearm'. I received no objection, and so I printed the label. I am sure you will be laughing when the Feds ...

What are you not sure about? We (LSO) will ship to or from an FFL, and with a smile, do it faster and cheaper than UPS or Fedex!

Re: Too young for BB gun?

Thanks! As a pilot, I flew into BHM quite regularly when I lived in Florida...Got it.. I guess the way you put it just tricked me into thinking you meant something else. BTW...I am in CRP right now... Headed to HRL to fly to AUS and back! :) Hope the ice and IFR is not to bad tonight and I don't hav...

Re: Too young for BB gun?

I bought a Red Ryder and took it over to BHM last month for the grandkids, their Dad and us to enjoy in their other Granny's backyard. The oldest boy (10) has earned a BB marksmanship badge in Webelos and the youngest is in Cub Scouts. After a review of gun safety rules, gun operation, etc., we pro...

Re: Kleberg County SO stop without probable cause!

Incidents such as this have made me consider taking the following action during any sort of LEO stop (for whatever reason): Take my i-phone out and put it on the voice-message function and conspicuously put it on the dashboard. LEO's record stops now, so I figure I should too. Yes! I have my google...
