Re: Can Beto O’Rourke really beat Ted Cruz?

Re: Not watching the Superbowl

I heard Eric Dickerson on a radio program this morning. He is essentially shilling for a socialistic policy for former NFL players. Erik is definitely not the sharpest knife in the drawer. He is not “rich” according to him. However, his net value is listed at10 mil while the average American is list...

Re: Postal Service is a joke...

Back in the 70s I was at A&M and my Sister at TU Austin. My Sister sent me my favorite cake at the time for my BD. 45 days and 7 Fort Worth postmarks later I received my crumbs.

Re: Postal Service is a joke...

FEDEX is the absolute worst for me. They look for excuses not to deliver to me and have me come to their office to collect a package, and my BIL worked for them for 30+ years.

Re: Pulled over for speeding - you won't believe what happened next!

I have had the pleasure, as a former LEO, to have been able to work with several DPS troopers. I have also had, as a civilian, and opportunity, to talk with them during traffic stops. I guess, I have just been lucky, all of my encounters, have been positive, even when I was younger, and received, a...

Re: Times have sure changed

Exotics cost money to buy. If a land owner can get someone to pay to shoot a fancy goat or deer, more power to them. Farmers won't let people in their fields anymore because there are too many liabilities now days. My buddy told me about 10 years ago, one of his neighbor's cows got out onto his dad...

Re: Pulled over for speeding - you won't believe what happened next!

I was pulled over by a Tx State Trooper. I was asked to turn off my truck, throw the keys in the passenger seat and step to the rear of my truck. Soon I was surrounded by 5 squad cars and had a dog checking out my truck. The Senior Officer sat by me on my tailgate and cut jokes the whole time. When ...

When I was at A & M in the early to mid 70s, Axis deer were considered a nuicense animal with no limit and no season. My Niece was just quoted $ 1,200.00 for an Axis tag.Money, Money, Money. Ok, but if I was a landowner with exotics, should I give up the opportunity to make current market value for...

Carry options

I’ve litterially carried thousands of miles in my truck and rental cars. I’ve always CC IWB with either a Crossbreed or a RDR holster. This is the first trip I have made with my Fotbus OWB holster. Mat uncomfortable holster I have ever tried.
