Re: 1911 with a 10 rd magazine?

Wilson Combat mags, that’s the only brand I use for action pistol matches when employing my 1911s.
You should be able to use 8 rd mags. in your matches, that’s what I use.

Re: Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick attacks NRA and Supports expanded background checks

I always demand a bill of sale, with current ( non-expired) state issued ID, if I sell or buy.
Buyer and seller each have a copy, and LTCs preferred.
And, just sent an email to the Lt. Gov. He just lost my vote, forever.

Re: Quarter Cock

I have this installed on two of my 1911s and a BHP. I really like it! My SR1911 Commander has over a 1000 rounds thru it via action pistol matches and range time with this installed. Works perfectly. An excellent option if you carry a 1911 or BHP, in my opinion. Also available for Series 80. I do n...

Re: M&P Shield 1st Round FTF Malfunction

I have the exact same Shield and Apex kit. I think it is a combination of a dirty feed ramp and the 147 gr round on the dirty feed ramp. I would try to duplicate the FTF by shooting a bunch of white box followed by the 147s. After it FTF, wipe down the feed ramp and see if it then feeds. A buddy of ...

Interesting article about Bonnen

Read this article this morning. It appears Bonnen may be going after some conservative members of the House. I checked websites of the first three. All three appear to be strong 2 amendment supporters, among other conservative views. https://Sulivan went on to list the Republican legislators that we...

Re: FL: Homeowner with AR15 kills 2, in armed home invasion.

Yep, that's the reason I'm getting one. Never know when anarchy is going to break out. They will be handy to have if all that is around us goes to heII, but I still believe the best reason to own an AR is that they are just plain fun to shoot. I' m not really a rifle guy. That might change after yo...

Re: New to Concealed Carry, have a few questions

Purchase a really good, stiff gun belt. A belt is the foundation that will carry the weight. I went through several holsters but the best purchase I made was a good gun belt. I have a black and a brown leather belt.

There are other belt manufacturers, just get a good belt.
