Was interesting to see that the cartel trucks have Texas plates, but they have their massive shootouts in gun free zones (i.e. Mexico)
I wonder if the Texas plates were associated with the kidnapped Texans?

Where did you get that dog gate? That's the best-looking one I've seen. Most are plastic.

Chas.
Try Frontgate - I've seen (similar) nice ones there
Thanks.

Chas.
A buddy of mine has the same gate. Very nice setup.

Re: No place but Washington State including Seattle naturally

I will give credit to the writer for recognizing the absurdity of this with regard to watering down the teaching of math science by muddling it with a social science. However, he failed to argue, likely on purpose, how this is just another nibble at the heels of the American Spirit by leftist social...

The device in question may be a tear gas launcher or something. That muzzle sure looks like it's 37-40mm in diameter.
My first thought was a bean bag gun. Given they were apparently there for crowd control I would like to thing it was a "less than deadly" tool.

Re: Especially Texan: George Barnard

My wife was a Barnard. Related to George's brother and business partner Charles. The story of Juanita Barnard, captured by Indians and ransomed by the Barnard's for cash and horses, is also very interesting. After Texas independence the Republic of Texas requested a military liaison from th US due t...

Re: 20 ga slugs

I bought a Mossberg 20g rifled slug gun for my son, when he was a boy, over 10 years ago. Fixed powered scope, Hornady sabots, 4" groups at 100 yards with light wind (I'm no dead ringer). Kicked like a mule till I bolted on a Limb Saver recoil pad. Bought a smooth bore from a local parts guru for bi...

I guess I made the mods work since I don't see my last posting in this thread. I hope this is more in line with the intended content.

Some fire departments in Texas do have armed members. Cross trained as commissioned law enforcement providing Fire Marshal service.

Re: Unintended Consequences

Certainly As a society we desperately need to strengthen the traditional family, faith in God, and sense of community. I can say with certainty that there is life after death and that all misdeeds will be accounted for. Unfortunately too many of our schools are miseducating children into believing ...

I found the same is true of cops and police shows. Try being in emergency medicine and watching one of the...

Re: No place but Dallas.

At the Tarrant County courthouse is a Civil War era 4" cannon. It was found in 2013 (or there about) buried under the west lawn. After being restored it has been displayed on the east lawn, aimed east, which anyone from Fort Worth sees as appropriate. :thewave
