Re: I'm Ashamed.

I know that in prior topics it was said that we have effectively been given oral notice about OC at Walmart. However, nothing was stated about Sams Club. I went to the local ((to me) Samss yesterday, saw no signs so I OC’d and not a word was said to me about it I disagree about the oral notice. The...

Re: Walmart has fallen!

Does the public announcement by WalMart to not open carry in their stores serve as notice or does that only apply when they are speaking to you directly? Otherwise, they will need to post the appropriate signage under Texas law. I am not saying I think folks should open carry if no signage. That is...

INFOWARS: Trump Considering Social Credit Score to Determine Gun Buyer's Eligibility

Take w/ grain of salt, as InfoWars seems to be the most reliable source at the moment  TRUMP ADMINISTRATION CONSIDERING SOCIAL CREDIT SCORE SYSTEM TO DETERMINE WHO CAN BUY A GUN Would partner with Big Tech to use spy data from Amazon, Google and Apple. https://www.infowars.com/trump-administrat...

Re: Would you support this gun private purchase restriction

Interesting. Your suggestion is interesting, but I was more referring to my response to your question. I had typed out a long well stated (IMHO) response and reasoning and my feelings about several related subjects. But after reflecting on what I had written, and considering today's climate, let me...

Re: Would you support this gun private purchase restriction

I’m going to get flamed but I’m ready for it. What if their was a law requiring private gun sellers to get three notarized letters from the buyer stating that they have known the person for five years, the person is of sound mind, the person to their knowledge has never been convicted of a crime, d...

Ugh. Still gonna OC unless given verbal notice.
Looks like I spoke too soon. Wal-Mart announced they will be posting state-specific signage at their stores to prohibit open carry. On the plus side, they did specifically say they would not seek to stop concealed carry.

Re: Beto: Mandatory Gun Buybacks if Elected President

Instead of "throwing them in the river" or loosing them. Seams like something needs to take place. I wonder what our Founding Fathers would do in this situation? This aligns with my way of thinking. When the time has come to hide our weapons, then maybe it's time to put them to use. Agreed. I don't...

Re: Philly video: GG w/good SA empties mag, kills robber DRT.

Honestly a little shocked that liberal Philly didn't press charges. The victim shot first, kept firing after the robber was dead, and had no right to protect himself IMO. What was he thinking even owning a gun??? [/sarcasm] Being serious though, he's lucky to escape charges for continuing to fire af...

Re: Red Flag Laws

Guy was speaking publicly while protesting outside the mayor's house in Portland. He said, in a nutshell, that if Antifa wants to be violent, I'll show them what real violence looks like. FBI took his guns for a minimum of a year and had him involuntary committed to a VA hospital for 20 days. Red fl...

Re: Reported: Active shooter in Odessa, TX

You know what just makes me livid? For kicks I like to check out the coverage on MSNBC. It is a know your enemy kind of thing for me. They are already pumping the gun control narrative over this shooting. They use phrases like "here we go again". But what they won't do is say one word about the 50 ...

People ask me sometimes why I carry such a big gun/so much ammo/multiple guns/out grocery shopping/in sleepy west texas...

Because nowhere is sleepy anymore.

Prayers for those involved.

Prayers also that our rights don't come under further assault as a result.

Communications Failures?

Has anyone else experienced this or does anyone have any info on this? Throughout the day today I've had several different people (myself included) report that their cell phone calls are being dropped about 2 seconds after connecting. This is multiple phone types on multiple carriers, with some peop...
