WTS: Sig P938 - DFW Area - $450

WTS a Sig P938 Extreme. Low round count (less than 300 rounds). Comes with the original box and accessories, including 6 round mag and 7 round mag with the grip extension. I'm throwing in a Hogue rubber grip for free (was previously installed on the gun). Prefer a face to face transaction in the DFW...

Re: Name Change

I could have sworn I looked there... but if I did, I'm not sure how I missed it!

In any event, thanks for the help. That's exactly what I needed.

Name Change

I know that GC §411.181 says that if a licensee changes their name or address, they must apply for a duplicate license within 30 days. My question is... how do you do that for a name change? If you go to https://txapps.texas.gov/txapp/txdps/chl/ and log in, you have options to change your mailing ad...

Re: Sugar Land/Greatwood/Richmond/Rosenburg Texas

Just thought I would add my recent positive experience with Phil. I recently sold a gun and shipped it to Phil for transfer to the buyer. Phil answered my emails quickly and answered all my silly questions (it was the first time I had shipped a firearm to a buyer). On the other end of the transactio...

Re: Eotech Red Dot is it worth it?

My wife and I both have an Eotech XPS2 on our ARs and we both love them. For us, they have certainly been worth the price.

I've never used one with a magnifier, so I can't comment on that aspect.

Re: Range Rental - North Fort Worth ??

Thanks for the tip. I only need range facilities, so lack of a classroom isn't an issue. I may approach quail creek (the location is perfect) for CHL qualification, but since the majority of what I teach isn't CHL (and involves holster work and movement), I would like to find a place where I could d...

Range Rental - North Fort Worth ??

Does anyone know of a small private range in the North Fort Worth/Keller/Roanoke area that will rent the facility to an outside instructor for chl qualifications (and possibly other classes)? I'm ok with either flat rate or per shooter range fees (although per shooter would be preferred). I would gr...

Quail Creek is the in area where you are looking. It's about a mile (if that) west of I-35 on 1171 (Cross Timbers).

Re: Best .223/5.56 55-gr FMJ-BT in brass.

Here's another option. 1000 rounds of PMC for .45 per round... but that includes shipping so it's not far above your .40 per round target. I've shot tens of thousands of rounds of PMC in various calibers over the past couple years and have no complaints. I've also ordered from this vendor a half doz...

Re: XS SIGHTS

Due to aging eyes, I decided to go with the big dot on my Glock 30 that I carry and use for IDPA. (yes, I shoot IDPA with a compact 45 - I use full power factory ammo too... gives me a nice excuse when I stink it up :biggrinjester: ) I really like the big dot and I found that once I got used to it, ...
