Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

https://apnews.com/ed30a98cafa94ecab4e540ffbd16a385 Trump calls NYT treasonous for news report that the US is attempting to hack Russian power grid system. Treasonous for saying it because its false or treasonous for saying it because its true? Pompeo won't say, can't confirm or deny. NYT says Trum...

Re: Governor Abbott Signs Ten Pro-Second Amendment Bills into Law

House Bill 1177 by Rep. Dade Phelan (R-Beaumont) & Sen. Brandon Creighton (R-Conroe) protects citizens from being charged with a crime for carrying a handgun without a License To Carry while evacuating from an area during a declared state or local disaster, or while returning to that area, and allow...

Re: Possible New Suppressor Bill HB 2286

Laws like this never had a chance thanks to Dennis Bonnen and Dan Patrick. Even if they weren’t a problem, suppressor regulation is STIILL under ATF jurisdiction. The state can pass all the laws it wants, and if you violate ATF suppressor regs and get found out, ATF agents will still show up to arr...

Re: AZ: Kidnapping foiled

Probably not the way I would have handled it, but the crime was stopped and the child is safe. :tiphat: Unfortunately the bad guy got away, but I think the police will be able to catch him. I probably would not have made hands-on contact with the perp, but I certainly would have drawn on him and or...

Re: TX: brass knuckles, kitty keychain etc ban lifted...

Just as a potentially amusing factoid, I found no version of the kitty key chain for sale on Amazon this morning. I figured what the heck, given that it has come up in conversation and will likely be legalized, I'd pick up a couple for myself and for use as future stocking stuffers. None, not even ...

Re: Psych patient OC's past 30.06/.07's, claims he's OK to do so.

Technically the only way the guy could be guilty of 30.06/07 laws would be if the patient had a LTC. If no LTC then guilty of open carry as we don't have constitutional carry. 06/07 only applies to LTC holders. They should have called police. Especially considering it is a PSYCHIATRIST the guy was ...
