Re: Man who died from knee to neck was from Texas

So in protest looting stores to make people feel better. I don't get it, yes police are responsible but stealing TV's doesn't make any sense. https://i.imgur.com/huca6gA.jpg It is not the police or the department responsible, it is the individual who used excessive force and those who chose to allo...

Re: Plano officer involved in shooting in Dallas

The investigation is just starting, so I'm sure they don't have much more information than what is in the press release. And it's going to be Dallas doing the investigation, so that is going to take quite some time.

Plano officer involved in shooting in Dallas

Press release by Plano PD

But, I thought I read from so many "common sense gun control experts" that a pistol was not effective against someone with a rifle.

Re: AZ: breaking - shooting at mall with AR

"Westgate Mall is a gun free zone" Well, if that's true there's no way that could happen! Obviously this means we need to create a NEW law, to make it a super duper double gun-free zone. Maybe THEN the bad guys won't target the place where citizens are made defenseless by law. :biggrinjester:

This is also why they said a handgun in a holster laying on a car seat is not legal. It's not in a belt holster cause the holster is not attached to a belt.
What if the holster on the car seat was attached to a belt, would it be legal then?

Re: Oklahoma lieutenant indicted for stopping active shooter

The big difference is that I am not a cop. Cops are required to intervene. It is what makes being a cop so darned dangerous. While the vast majority of police are indeed wired to protect/defend, you may want to lookup Warren v. District of Columbia. One needs only to look at what happened at Parkla...
