Re: Knock-knock ... Can I come in?

I should have scanned and emailed mine. I wonder how often they check the drop box at RSD in Austin. Dropped mine off 7 days ago and still no email they have received it.Oh well. Patience is virtue. I haven't been to the "Waiting room" since March, but at the time it seem like people who mailed in ...

I have seen videos on YouTube about this gun. It's seems like a cross of the shield, and sig p250.

Re: I have a problem!

Honestly I don't like the triggers of any striker fired gun. But The G19, G17, and Shield are the only guns in my collection, that haven't had any issues at the range. I have had a cz p07 failure to eject, and Springfield 1911 failure to eject repeatedly, and a sig 938 failure to feed. So I only car...

Re: First days of carry....not very comfortable

I started with a g19 that while not comfortable it was tolerable. I change to a s&w shield with a belt slide holster and just a leather belt, nothing fancy. I carry at 3oclock, no problems.

Re: Gun 'mistakes' in Books, TV, and Movies - feel free to post your own

I watched The Bodyguard, with Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston, and in one scene they are in a room talking when they hear something in another part of the house. Keven pulls out his gun, racks the slide on his 1911 and points it right in her face and tells her "don't move". I had to rewind it, and...

Try academy for 429 plus tax, if your are in Houston. they only carry the Glock 17 version 9mm. Ask for it, don't just look for it on the shelf

Re: Shots fired, LEO at the door, what do you do?

That exact incident happened to me. The police knocked on my door and ask me to open up. My exact words were "no thank you, I'm not opening the door." There response was they were investigating shots fired, and asked if I heard anything. I told them that "no I just woke up when you knock" They said ...

Re: It's all our fault....

Not siding with anyone, but I can jump on YouTube right now, and see hundreds of videos where the police are terrorizing, and attacking people. To say that Washington created a narrative that has lead to this situation. The "bad cops", and the good cops who did nothing are as much responsible for th...

Re: Employers banning guns in parking lots

I'm more of a "don't tell" kind of guy. So I won't tell anyone what I have in my car. If an employer wants to search my car to make sure I'm not breaking any rules I would tell them the same thing I would tell a cop, "get a warrant". If I get fired for that, I'll be in the unemployment line the next...

Re: Employers banning guns in parking lots

I agree, but at the same time my car is my Property. And what ever I decide to keep in it, is my decision. As long as I don't take it out of my car, what's the problem?

Man I am such a conspiracy theorists. The only thing I can think is that this is a false flag operation. To get the police to be more agreeable to enforcing any unconstitutional gun control

Re: LTC holder exempt from FBI Background check?

What I don't understand is that the gun store asked if I had a LTC, like it would get me threw the transaction quicker. I didn't want to waste their time or mine. Had they been up front and said "even if you have a LTC, we do the background check" I would of said ok that's fine and walked out. I'm n...
