Re: Selling to a non LTC holder

I don't show ID for the same reasons I don't do transactions at my house. 1-I don't want strangers who know I have guns or valuable things to know where to come get them when I am not home. 2- giving a copy if my DL gives full name, address, birthday, dl#. A little online research and my identity is...

Re: Connecticut assault victim gets 18 months in jail for stabbing attacker

I was mocking CT law. CA has same type of laws.

If national reciprocity gets passed, and even for current reciprical states, we need to know not just where we can carry, but what the threshold is for use of force.

Re: Selling to a non LTC holder

I'm not giving my personal info to a stranger. The reason I buy private is no paper trail. If they want LTC I'll show my pic and exp date, but block address, number, etc. Just like ccw insurance ( may as well add gas to a hot topic), are there documented cases someone bought a stolen gun innocently ...

Re: Connecticut assault victim gets 18 months in jail for stabbing attacker

Mandatory retreat laws go past gun free zones, and take it to a no fight back zone. BG walks in your front door, says I am her to steal your stuff, you are required to walk out the back door and watch, just to avoid violence. Surprised they don't require you to help load the guys van.

Re: Do Not make a company aware of their non-compliant signs!

I don’t seem to fathom how someone can tell a store owner what they need to do to allow patrons not to carry. That’s some California logic. California logic is not allowing to carry, spent many years there. I agree private property owners have the right, and should have the right, to prohibit guns....

Re: Connecticut assault victim gets 18 months in jail for stabbing attacker

I know school fights are different, but right here in Texas you have to get punched twice and be in a corner before you can fight back. I told my son if he did nothing to provoke it, no one lands a punch on him, and if he defends himself and gets in trouble, I’ll take him out for ice cream. So far h...

Re: What Is The No. 1 Reason For Such Hatred?

Hillary started it when she called a large number of American patriots "a basket of deplorables" I was in the anyone but Hillary camp and I don’t defend her at all, but trump was calling republicans names WAY before the deplorables thing. He is very good at creating us vs them , name calling is jus...

Re: What Is The No. 1 Reason For Such Hatred?

I agree anyone who beat hill would be treated similarly. I think trump gets an extra dose because he calls people/groups out. I like the conservative nature of his direction. I don’t like that he acts like a school yard bully calling names, and saying whatever he thinks will win in the moment. Even ...

This only applies if you are driving (control of car)? As a passenger do you lose that protection?

I don’t think he is asking about carrying with empty chamber, I think it is after racking slide do you pop mag out to top it off.

I don’t top off.

Re: IN: Child finds a gun in the cushions of a couch at IKEA

My edc does not jab or make me uncomfortable. It gets lost to feel just like my wallet. But just like my wallet, I confirm it is there every so often. When getting up from soft furniture I check for my knife, my keys, my wallet and my ccw.

Re: IN: Woman kills officer's attacker, now getting sued

I have friends who are lawyers, and they do have some morals. Mostly they are in tax and patent law. When the argument is made that the lawyer is loyal to the client at all costs for the most aggressive representation, then for good or bad there is a similarity to prostitutes. The opinion or judgeme...
