Not always a Wayne fan but this speech was spot on.

Re: Safariland QLS

The QLS is solid. I use one of my 3gun belt with a larger size holster. I find on the larger holster its sometime hard to get to the release even with my skinny fingers. With the smaller holster I think it'll be a piece of cake though.

Re: Gallbladder and kidney removal.

Had my gall bladder out after several smaller attacks over several years. Major attack put me down to a non-functional state right in the middle of a big presentation. Hurt worse than anything else I've had and I could barely make it back to my desk after stopping the presentation. As soon as the ga...

That was a good choice. Hard to go wrong there for a first AR

Re: Recommend an AR at $700 max

Lot of recommendations for newer manufacturers in the AR space listed here. PSA, Springfield, Ruger, etc. Not to say they aren't good/great guns or even reputable companies that should be considered but most have only been in ARs for a few years or so... Personally, for a first AR I'd probably go wi...

Benchmade 9170 https://sp.yimg.com/ib/th?id=HN.608019880419199062&pid=15.1&P=0 I've carried a bunch of different brands but several years ago I settled in on my Benchmades for EDC. They are solid and I've never had issues with them. Hold an edge well and deploy instinctively and quickly. All are poc...

Re: How to disarm correctly

you need to stay concealed so what you have listed won't work. One option would be to disarm in your car out of view then wrap the weapon in a shirt or towel to place in the trunk. Same for rearming. But the action of going to the trunk to obviously stow something is really calling attention anyway....

Re: 12/6/14 - LEO tries to delete video of him confronting O

I think there were bad players on both ends here just because of the way they both entered into the confrontation. They were both looking to make it an issue to one degree or another... But I don't think the OCer ever said he wouldn't identify himself; he just didn't offer a name without being asked...

Re: Where would you buy?

I'll give a vote for good customer service at SMR. He's done a little work for me including some he didn't even charge for that I was more than willing to pay for. They don't always have a lot of stock on the counters. I assume they just order in whatever you want? I've never asked as I tend to brow...

Re: AR Pistol

[*] Regardless of whether #1 includes both halves in the definition, If I bought a stripped lower at a gunshow, and I assembled it into a rifle, shot it for a while, and then I later rebarreled the upper receiver to 7", removed the rifle/carbine buttstock and reconfigured it as a pistol, possibly w...

Yep. Penny is still biting down a bit also. same needles for teeth. Chalking it up to the puppy in her. Once here permanent teeth are in I'll move to a bumper with bigger knobs if she keeps it up.

Too many snakes where we go so doing the snake vaccine on her next round also.

Re: Cheaper Than Dirt & the ol Bait And Switch??

The whole "warehouses" issue is just the amazon model. They are just a storefront for those other warehouses to offer more product. They do have their own warehouses of course. Warehouse 1 and I think 1 or 2 others. Not defending their customer service at all as I have heard a number of stories. I h...

Re: Newest Member of the Crossfire Family!

Cute pup. We just added a Vizsla, Penny, to our house. First time training a bird dog by myself also. I went back and forth on sending her off when she gets a little older and ready but have decided against it. Penny is already fetching on her own without any prompting from us. She's retrieving to h...
