I seem to remember another poster that had OTH discharge that was upset because he wasn't getting the veteran discount because DPS said he wasn't entitled. Then he appealed it to his rep and they changed their stance. (or something along those lines).

My opinion is no. OTH is Other Than Honorable, therefore I would not consider that to be Honorable.

Pretty testy answer for someone who lied to the military about a pre-existing, obviously disqualifying condition and then attempted to cover that up on this forum while seeking assistance.

I was discharged with an OTH and are under 21. I was wondering if I could still get a CHL? Since OTH isn't the same as Dishonorable.

To my understanding, if you are active duty and under 21 you are still eligible for a CHL. I am under 21 and was in the military for 7 months until I got injured and discharged with an OTH. I didn't get the chance to get my CHL then, but could I get it now since I was in active duty? I have my DD ...
