I won't feel fulfilled until Cruz publicly makes fun of Beto's nickname in Spanish without Beto realizing it. There must be some obscure Cuban word for "poser" that Hispanic voters would recognize.

Re: Sniper hits ISIS Commander from 1.5 miles

I think the reporter got a lot of facts wrong. Perhaps a .50 cal sniper rifle was used, but not a .50 cal machine gun. Carlos Hethcock sniped a VC commander in Vietnam with an M2 with an optical sight mounted on it. The distance was something like 1700 yards. I believe that GSgt. Hathcock held a pa...

Re: California Professor Charged with Assaulting 7 with Bike Lock Gets Probation

I didn't realize how clearly the antifa "with us or against us" rhetoric mirrors that of historic communists and fascists. I wonder how they'd respond to the accusation that they're all totalitarians whose overarching goal is to line their ideological opponents up against a wall?

Re: First time hog hunting advice

Really excited. My dad just got 3 hogs with two shots from the 6.5 Creedmoor I built him this morning, and I can't wait to go. I can't wait to go and I really appreciate the advice. Growing up, we treated them as a kind of rodent...you wouldn't eat a rat, so you wouldn't eat a hog. Word got out abou...

IIRC, there were a number of things about that gentleman that worried the poster. The hand placement on the grip was the cherry on top.

Re: Trimming 300WM Cases

My uncle swears by his World's Finest Trimmer by Little Crow Gunworks. I got one for .300 Blackout and found that it's phenomenal for longer cases that you can hold well. One question for belted magnums in general: how do you address case head stretch and move the belt back? I think there a guy who ...

Re: Bullying? Mean? Evil? What?

I think that Leviathan covers it. Some folks do the right thing Because it's right. Others do the right thing Because they fear the social consequenes of breaking the law. Swift and terrible punishment keeps those people in line. As we have filled our prisons with drug salesmen and focused more upon...

Anyone who thinks that the government can control this is deluding himself. Just look at their smashing success with controlling file sharing in general.

Check the menu section for Outside magazine. How many hunting articles do they have? Can you find any? I couldn't.

What about these?

https://www.tesla.com/solarroof

They come with a lifetime warranty and if you time it right, you might even get your homeowner's insurance to partially pay for them.
The warranty specifically excludes capacity loss, which is the failure mode for lithium ion batteries.
