Re: Rescued a forlorn old girl today

Some people have all the luck. :grumble Congratulations on a good find! :thumbs2: He's had it since the early 00s I believe, this and a 9x18 Makarov that I had a choice of. While both rounds are somewhat odd, the 7.62 appealed to me more. It's a hot little round, makes a brilliant flash of light an...

I hope you get some use out of it. Would be shame if it was only a safe queen. :fire
It will for sure come with me every time I go to the range. I've heard she puts out a fireball that is unlike anything else, and quite the noise too.

Re: Rescued a forlorn old girl today

7.62 x 25? Is this ammo available, or is it like finding Sasquatch? :-) SIA The same guy I got it from has a couple still unopened sardine can like ammo boxes full of the stuff. Probably a few thousand rounds at least. So if I need it Incan get it cheaper from him than anywhere else. Also if I buy ...

Re: Can DL suspension affect LTC

I am not saying you are going to and you did not ask the question, but it probably would not be good for one to get stopped while driving on a suspended Dl. Haha yea no doubt, getting stopped with a suspended DL, would only increase my issue. I've since paid up on the surcharge, I was just curious ...

Re: Welcome to USSA (United Socialist States of America)

I highly doubt it. Aside from what the media would have you believe, more and more people are walking away and shunning the left. People are thankfully waking up to their madness and seeing them for what they are. Puto O'Rourke is an empty suit, and just the newest fad from the left. No one likes hi...

Re: TX: The mean interstate near Waco

If you didn't wreck from the impact, or unfortunately be killed from the impact, would this be a reasonable liable use of deadly force reaction? As in, drawing and shooting the idiots who dropped/threw the rock? I assume it would be, no i'm not looking for a reason to use my firearm. I just feel in ...

Re: Rodeo grounds

So am I understanding this right, The HLS&R is a private owned company. BUT the NRG grounds is county owned. Therefore their 30.06/07 signs are invalid? But the off duty cops who work as security will tell you its against the law to carry?

Re: Not wearing holster today

I've always know that the performance within the stadium was off limits, but the fair grounds themselves were always open... Yes the stadium itself is off limits. Always has been, but they changed to the WHOLE area being no-go a few years ago. They have LARGE 30.06/07 signs at the fence when you bu...

Apparently 2015ish. It is a private owned event and they have decided that the entire area is 30.06/07.

Re: Not wearing holster today

You are good to carry as long as you are not going into the stadium to watch the rodeo. No they have 30.06 and 7 signs are the fence as you enter the carnival. Plus they have you walk through a metal detector and a wand. You cannot carry anywhere on the NRG property during the rodeo. I think it's o...

Not wearing holster today

I've had my LTC for about a year now, today I'm going to the rodeo with wife and kids, and cannot carry even a knife. Feels odd, I've worn my holster and firearm nearly every day since I got my license. I'm not complaining about anything, I just find it interesting how you become accustomed to somet...
