Re: Recommendations for AIWB Holster for S&W .380 EZ

I don't always carry AIWB but when I do I just use a StickyHolster. It's done really well for carrying my shield. Every other time I wear a Crossbreed SuperTuck, not quit an AIWB...though they do make a holster with a single spring steel clip. Might be worth your while to check em out.

Re: Can Beto O’Rourke really beat Ted Cruz?

My reasoning is pretty simple; I find the other choice dishonest, untrustworthy, unconnected to reality. I also firmly believe that we do need to regulate gun ownership more than is the current standard. Speaking just of the Texas LTC process I think both the written and proficiency tests were pret...

Re: Apartment Lease Contract Handgun Addendum

Seems to be the way things are going, I'm definitely not saying its right, and definitely not saying that I agree with it. My wife and I renewed our lease back in June and the HG addendum just mentioned 30.07 not .06. Didn't bother me much since I don't normally open carry anyway.

Re: new rifle selection choices

This may just be my sentiment talking but for the money that would go into a new rifle maybe consider having a muzzle brake fitted and one of those recoil tubes added to the stock?

Re: Poll: Native or Transplant?

I will say that the one thing that I do not like about Texas is the huge lack of public lands...at least in this area. In Utah I could drive less than five minutes and be in an area where at a minimum I could peg prairie dogs or just shoot rocks off in the distance. Late summer and fall took me up i...

Re: Poll: Native or Transplant?

Mom was born in El Paso and I was born and raised in California when it was still fun. Growing up, Camp Roberts was the stomping ground for hunting everthing from quail and dove to deer...except the Tule Elk, those were left alone. I grew up shooting twenty-two's on Black Mountain as well as at hom...

Re: Draw to Help a Firefighter?

Maybe its just bad Hollywood but I saw this and remembered a line from American History X where Danny and Derricks dad (two main characters) was killed whilst doing his job as a Firefighter. Public servants shouldn't have to deal with this stuff, and frankly its infuriating that they do. Maybe if mo...

Draw to Help a Firefighter?

This was in the news this morning. Would this have been another situation to draw your weapon to assist a oubluc servant? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wfaa.com/amp/article%3fsection=news&subsection=local&headline=as-knife-wielding-man-chased-dallas-firefighters-dpd-was-slow-to-respond&contentId=...

Re: Shield owners- help!

I have fairly recently added a Shield 9mm 1.0 to my EDC rotation. I have all the confidence in the world with it but for days when im not running around in shorts and a tshirt I prefer my Ultra or Pro carry 1911's...both 45acp's. Both calibers have their place in my rotation. I looked at sheild 45's...

Re: No place but Dallas.

When Dick's decided to do the same thing with regards to the MSR's that they were no longer selling, nobody batted an eye or thought about how they could have been donated to struggling PD's. Indeed "What a waste". They just dumped them? Why didn't anybody tell me so I could rescue a few? :banghead...
