So what are the next 10 reasons to own 4 different AR?
1. The .450 bushmaster is for hogs
2. The .450 bushmaster is for coyotes
3. The .450 bushmaster is for deer
4. The .450 bushmaster Is for rabbits
Fixed.
Well played... :biggrinjester:

Re: Death to Moon Clips (Maybe)

I wouldn't think so since the headspace in the cylender would control how deep the cartridge actually falls. So in the case of the LCR the cartridge actually sticks out of the back of the cylender about an eighth of an inch (roughly) when not using the moon clips. That being said, the star would onl...

Re: Death to Moon Clips (Maybe)

But with a star that rotates a half degree when pushed to grab the case rim you eliminate the need for springs that could fail.

Re: Death to Moon Clips (Maybe)

It seems that I'm just that "niche market". I don't know, I'm kind of curious about loading lead and Trail Boss, for a "cowboy action 9mm" load in the LCR. I'd assume the same could be done with the other calibers if there was a wheel gun for those calibers. Why not a .357Sig in a SAA platform. :woo...

Re: Death to Moon Clips (Maybe)

I'd be curious to find out what killed sales. Seems this would be a great idea to build revolvers in some of the funner calibers, .50AE, .357sig, or maybe .40 S&W for example.

Death to Moon Clips (Maybe)

I recently acquired a Ruger LCR in 9mm and whilst tinkering with it I had a bit of what I think is a self proclaimed moment of genius. To the best of anybodies knowledge, does anybody know if an ejector rod has been devised for a revolver in an auto caliber (rimless) that when pressed rotates a half...

SIA: That may be one thing that he remembers but time will tell. The weekend before last his mom and I spent hours helping him study for a retake on a math test to be retaken no more than 24 hours later...he failed it again. But cars are something he DEFINITELY gets into. I appreciate you giving him...

Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast

I guess I answered my own question. Showed up with my step son and we both had a good time. On the way gome he asked how "old people" knew so much about cars LOL. Anyway thanks for the good time, good conversation and the challenge coin Flightmare. Can't wait for next year. Everyone that came I hope...

Re: Happy Hanukkah

It's a huge error to assume that someone keeps kosher because they're Jewish. A Jewish friend turned me on to chocolate with bacon in it (which is amazing). Very true. My grandmother kept a kosher house for my grandfather but she and the rest of us were spoiled and had non-kosher as well as kosher ...

It is the police's responsibility to draw the chalk outline.

It is your responsibility to ensure it's not YOUR outline.

Re: Living without a 2nd Amendment

Law enforcement is just that, enforcment of the law in a given moment of time. Beyond that they're there to investigate after a law has already been broken. In that instant the preservation of life and or limb is in your hands whether by exercising your 2A rights or otherwise, that choice is up to t...

Multiple Vehicle Break-Ins (Dodged a Bullet)

My wife and I drove up to St. Louis to move my mother in law to Wichita. The last night we were there we saw no less than 5 vehicles that had windows busted out. One SUV with New York Plates, two trucks from Alabama, the owners of which were there deer hunting. Our truck was parked next to thiers an...

Re: What a wife I have

I as well am extremely blessed to have such an amazing bride. She had known since we started dating that a 1911 was on my radar but never really had the opportunity (funds) to purchase one. Then one day I come home for lunch and I there's a random .45 cartridge sitting on the bar between the kitchen...
