Happy Independence Day!!
Although it would have been better if suppressors and SBR's were removed from the NFA, there should be a surge in purchases of suppressors and more conversions of AR pistols to SBR's now that there is no longer a $200 tax owed.

Will be interesting to see what the anti-gunners will do to block this legislation from taking effect. I'm sure there's a few hundred willing district judges who are willing to issue a nationwide injunction despite the recent slapdown by SCOTUS.

Re: Today in Trump's 2nd term as President - somethings up

This would be the last hope this session since the Senate failed to overrule or fire the Harry Reid Democratic Parliamentarian. NOTE: The tax in the Senate version was reduced to zero, which is a victory in part. But would be great to get a complete win on the NFA:

🚨 BREAKING: I just introduced an amendment to the Senate-passed budget reconciliation bill to remove the NFA registration requirement for suppressors, SBRs, SBSs, and AOWs.

I’m fighting til the very end to get as many 2A wins in the OBBB as possible.

That's great, except if the Senate version is amended by the House then it goes back to the Senate who can just strip it out and send it back.

Somethings up.

Oil has been rising for no real reason.
Another failed Trump promise...what happened to "drill baby drill" American oil?

Are the Epstein files still on Blondi's desk? 100+ days, no arrests for anyone on the list.

A.G> Bondi has launched a Second Amendment Task force.

I question why it took Blondi from Feb 7th when Trump signed the EO till April 8th to do what he ordered?

Her previous anti-2A statements are at odds with what Trump wants.

No, it's real, but you are correct that may images and even videos can be faked.

But you can watch the video of it here: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/gun-to ... ns-arizona
She absolutely needs to stop treating the job as a photo op. Trump's base doesn't care about photo ops, we care about results. There's plenty of work she should be doing rather than photo ops with operators.

If she's too scared to do her job, then she should step down. If she cowers before the communists and their threats, she shouldn't be on the court. I'm sure Trump has someone on his potential SCOTUS list to replace her.

SCOTUS didn't waste much time proving the "conservative majority" isn't.

We already have federally expanded "Real ID". IE ID that requires proof of citizenship and birthplace. I see absolutely NO problem with expanding voting laws to have a federal ID requirement for Real ID presented at the time of voting for all federal elections.

For Mail-in ballots, at the time the mail-in ballot is initially requested, Real-ID must be presented.

Its already on the books as a federally recognized ID, makes sense to make it the elections ID as well. Democrats were all about Real ID when it rolled out.
Making Real-ID a requirement for elections is then it would exclude LTCs from acceptable forms of ID since that does not qualify.
I could live with losing LTC as valid ID for voting.
