I know and I should have expanded my thoughts on this topic but didn't want to get to long winded, earlier. The CHL class touches on it but it was never intended to be a full on cqb or gun handling class. My personal opinion is that anyone who carries should go through a couple of formal classes on a hot range and augment that with regular range time, as well as follow up classes every so often.

I like the idea of constitutional carry but like the idea that responsible citizens would seek out training ahead of exercising that right.

I intend no offense to the instructors on this site but the gun handling and gun safety taught in the CHL classes and renewals that I took, were a bad joke. Anyone pinning the hopes of public safety from the carrying public, just on CHL classes, is bound to be disappointed.

Considering we are what, the 20th or 25th state to allow permitless carry? Not a single one has turned into the old west. I predict a few isolated incidents... and then a whole lot a nuthin, just like all the other CC states.
