Mine was the second letter in response to the Savage/Ruger scout rifle tests. I said that the Steyr looked like it was designed by someone infatuated with Buck Rogers.

I was just wondering how many of us here do subscribe. I have stopped all other gun publications except for the three we receive from the NRA. I have found that Gun Tests doesn't hype any guns or pull any punches. I'm not sure if I understand all of their test criteria (such as how they measure their group sizes), but their reports seem pretty reliable to me.

BTW, I'm feeling a little smug about it because they published one of my letters to the editor in the October 2011 issue. If they published something I wrote, they have to be pretty smart, right?
